People are capable of kindness beyond angels, yet we also commit sins that would put a demon to shame. All the boss fights I ever did in FFXI, even the very end, it was Raogrimm's lines that stuck with me. We saw much betrayal and hurt in FFXI, pain inflicted against the undeserving, evil that delighted in the suffering of the innocent. Through the darkness of the storm we also saw heroes rise, and we stood beside them. We didn't do it because they asked it of us. We didn't do it for fame or fortune. We did it because it was the right thing to do, and there were so few left who could carry the weight of the world on their shoulders. We saw the many faces of those who inhabited Vana'diel, those who were cruel and malicious, and those who were kind and compassionate. God I wish we had more stuff like this. Raogrimm, the world will never forget your sacrifice.

Just did this fight again on FFXI Eden. Pretty good classic server that replicates 2005 era with some job balances kept that came a little later.

the last boss fight is supposed to take place outdoors in a giant open field and go on for hours through the night until you can see the morning light and the sun rising in the background they totally fucked up the setting on this
