I'm surprised you never SCANNED them to see their rapid requirements. Because most of the Eidolon's don't require active combat. For example, Lightning's Eidolon Odin required her to protect and aid hope, as a way of telling her not to go it alone and step on those that wished for her help. Bahamut appeared before Fang to help her make up her mind to fight her fate. Brynhildr appeared before Sasz to make him realize that there were still people that required his help, and for him to live on. Alexander came to Hope to make him realize his inner potential. Get the picture?
@rubinellemahrahn65917 жыл бұрын
Oh...Well, Snow was determined never to give up, even at the cost of his own life. His desire and drive to protect attracted the Shiva Sisters, who arrived to make him understand that in order to protect others, one must be able to protect yourself first. Which meant not taking such foolish risks.
@rubinellemahrahn65917 жыл бұрын
Crap, and I forgot Vanille. If I remember correctly, Hecaton (cannot spell that name to save my own ass) arrived to elaborate the point to Vanille, that lying and hiding the truth was getting her nowhere. She couldn't escape the truth no matter what, because eventually, it would all catch up to her, and she'd be cornered if she had no one to stand by her side.
@rubinellemahrahn65917 жыл бұрын
Which is why I prefer to think of the Eidolon's as life lessons...Manifestations of the crippling flaws in their masters hearts, the things that would inevitably lead to their death and destruction. The Eidolons appear to correct those flaws, to make you aware that some form of action is needed, or doom will beckon when next you turn your head from the path.
@rubinellemahrahn65917 жыл бұрын
Nah, that's not what happened. Originally, Vanille was SUPPOSED to become Ragnarok, but Fang did the transformation in her place. After they woke from their crystal slumber, Vanille decided to hide that little fact from Fang, who eventually recalled anyways. Which was why Fang's Brand was Sealed...she was practically destined to become Ragnarok again, and she nearly did. Vanille is literally a tragic case of "the little girl who tried to shoulder the burden of the world, and failed."

US consoles didn't have Easy mode.
@Golden_BOI4 жыл бұрын
@@coolguy02536 Ps4 version had easy mode but the xbox 360 version only had normal mode. The PC release does have both the modes but changing the difficulty in the campaign doesn't really do much, if you know the battle system well the entire campaign is piss easy until chap 11. In this fight, if you Haste and Enfrost Sahz, go into Commando and spam Blitz you fill up in entire bar guage in 20 seconds because Brynhyldr has a weakness to ice and Sahz'd Blitz is unique as it hits with mulitple projectiles which are weaker but count as seperate hits, so one Blitz is like hiting him with 20 ice attacks. Knowing the enimies weakness is most important in this game as staggering gets you a fastest kill and the correct paradigms to tackle those weaknesses is what game is about and that doesn't really change on either difficulty. All I know is easy mode increases drop rates of items, increases battle time for 5 stars and lowers your damage intake, i'm not sure if it does anything else , just lets you play sub optimal for less punishment, I never played the game on easy but it did take me 2 100% playthroughs to learn everything and the speedruns to learn tricks and gimmicks with characters like with Sahz in this fight.

+hotman718 That would be unnecessary. In a way, yeah we can all predict he won't do it, but I think you are missing the point. It isnt that she almost died by him, it's about how all the build up of emotions and compassion they had for each other, was gone because of him finally knowing the truth. It wasnt about if he pulls the trigger, but it was him coming to the reality and realization of who she really is and he had to find out what path to take. Forgiveness and grudge. And it forced Vanille to finally confront her own feelings instead of just running away. That's what the scene is all about, the gun represents Sazh's emotions that cloud his judgement.
