Final Fantasy XIV: Azys Lla Theme (Extended OST)

This is the greatest theme in FFXIV bar none. The emphatic gripping suspense of the melody, letting you know - unequivocally - that you've reached endgame content (for that expansion) and delivering it in a manner with characterised melodies, historical Alag prominence and deep-rooted heroism. You're playing your part warrior of light. You're almost there. One more hurdle. You've got this!!

The techno-bass allagan theme mixing with the violins and organs blaring. All these years later, still my favorite zone theme. Also lore-wse, we're just seeing a museum. The allagans were insane with their tech level compared to even the garleans, they look like kids playing with matches.

Such an epic part of the game. Running the gauntlet through each of the areas, eyes on the big imposing fortress in the middle that can’t be reached by any means, at which point the game introduces flying mounts in the best way ive ever seen to allow you to storm the fortress and fight the final story fight. Top notch, man.

I'll admit though finding all the aether currents in the other zones are a pain, but worth it in the end hehe

@@Star-to2qy I was so excited when they revealed not only are they adding flying to ARR Zones, but EVERYONE can fly with NO aether currents!!

I wish flying mounts were still unlocked in HW with the Black Chocobo and you'd have to go back in ARR areas, find the Aether currents there to finally be able to fly in these zones as well. Its more effort but at the same time a more consistent and meaningful feeling of progression.

I liked the theme already, but the part that truly made me love it was when when you finish the quests that allows you to fly in this zone and the cutscene ends with you riding the dragon, both facing from up the sky the enemy stronghold. I think that the music was made specifically for that moment

Mine too, sometimes when I'm bored or no one in my fc is on to run dungeons with me, I just teleport there and fly around to listen to the music xD

Let's all agree that most allagans of high status & most scientists were terrible people for the brutal experiments done to people, beast tribes, primals, & dragon kind. Heck there technically is responsible for causing two Umbral Calamities (basically a mass extinction event) the fourth & seven calamity.

@@hereniho true.. altho its the same with a realm reborn.. heavensward, endwalker, and shadowbringers's last zone was amazing.. i remember being in awe when i went into heavensward's final zone for the first time
