Damn Ignis is just too perfect. The man can fight, can cook, can bake, can sew. Can be a little too demanding of Noctis but he has Noctis best interest in his heart. Doing everything he can to care for the Prince. At the same time it's really sad that all his time is dedicated for the sake of Noctis' future. Seems like he doesn't even have a minute to spare just for himself. On the other hand, glad he eventually changed his hairstyle. The one in this movie is too preppy lol.

Of all the things in FFXV, I did NOT expect the anime to make me cry! But Regis telling his baby boy he won't let anyone hurt him, and Noctis realizing his dad is GONE, just- WHY, XV, WHY!?!?! Somebody REALLY needs to make sure nobody hurts Noctis, he deserves better, HE DESERVES BETTER!

So, did Regis also collect all the Royal Arms before Noctis did? That seems incongruent as many of the Royal Tombs seemed to be lost and unknown.

They royal arms were resealed after the king had to use the wall at the start of the game he was only using the vestiges of the royal arms since he had held them at one point just like ardyn

Regis lost the ability to summon the weapons because keeping up the wall was very demanding and weakened him, according to the anime. Noctis has to visit all the king tombs in order to learn how to summon them. What I don't understand is why was Regis even able to summon the weapons? Did he have to collect them too? And if so, where did the weapons go after he died? Back to the graves?

⁠@@aberger6666they don’t actually collect physical weapons. They collect the spectral version of it in the tombs which they can summon and it will just manifest physically because “magic”. And yes, it was implied in the game that Regis did collect the weapons in his youth with his retinue, like Cid and that dude in the Altissia restaurant. Their adventures were told as a “bedtime story” in another game called “A King’s Knight”. It’s on playstation not sure if it’s on steam

I have always found German as a very interesting language, despite how hard it is whenever I try to speak German it feels like a very strange and mysterious language. I love German.
