Friendly reminder that this legend composed some of FFXIV songs while in the hospital, not knowing if he would survive his battle with cancer and didnt tell anyone involved in the game so they wouldnt feel bad for him nor persuade him to stop composing. This is a real one

And wrote some of his best works doing it. MMOs traditionally do not have the best music but Soken has treated FFXIV players time and time again to not only some of the best MMO music ever conceived, but some of the best music in any video game ever.

@@I-Will-Destroy-U He's not, unfortunately. He IS in remission, and putting up a hell of a fight. The odds are looking up for him, but he's not out of the woods yet. Makes you appreciate him even more. He probably composed the entire score of XVI while battling cancer, too.

It’s kind of criminal I wasn’t aware of this man prior to 16. Regardless of how you feel about the gameplay, story or characters… the soundtrack for this game is absolutely amazing

Lots of salty asswipes out there who hate on XVI because it doesn't have trans bullshit or obnoxious overpowered women with shaved heads. I fully expect for all these rigged award shows to ignore this game.

Ever since I've played the game when it came out. Even now I'm humming this everywhere I go. And make my Alexa play it as ambience. Not too mention my animals love it lol. Truly is my fave ost of any game. Torn from the heavens is great too.

Soken is one of the BEST Music composers of our time. He is doing/done amazing good jobs he never fails to surprise us with his great talent to make memorable music for both FFXIV and FFXVI. And even when he had battle with cancer he worked from the hospital... I am so glad that he is okay! God bless this Legend! We in the FFXIV community very love him and i hope he will get a award for his work on FFXVI music now. He very deserve it !

Titan for me, i noticed many people say "this doesn't fit" but as someone who started really loving FF14 when I first encountered Titan all those years back I was hyped.

1 year exclusivity... so PC port will be released in summer 2024😢!

@Mc_Lovin-nd6cl They never release it exactly after exclusivity comes up. FF7 took another 6 months. That’s if it comes to PC at all, which it probably will but isn’t confirmed.
