Final Fantasy XVI OST - The Grand Duchy of Rosaria

This may sound weird to some, but FFXVI has become my favorite game of all time. I know it has some flaws and it's not a traditional FF but it struck such a chord with me that I still think about now. When it comes to Xbox or Steam I'll be replaying it there too.

@@Final_Fantasy_7 S-E literally said they're no longer doing exclusives with Playstation. That's due to low sales. Japan is a much smaller market than the US, they're releasing it on Xbox, bet.

@deiradinn Xbox won't get final fantasy 16...and Sony made sure of that even if it's the last exclusive game square put on sony's box....Xbox just haven't had any success in japan the same way sony and Nintendo does.so it doesn't matter whether japan is a small market or big market.also the upcoming marvel vs capcom collection won't come to Xbox only switch,PC and PS4.why not Xbox? Simply because of declining sales.and now black myth wukong probably might not come to Xbox because of development issues.dont u get it ? Developers don't want to invest on a console that will make little return on their investments.the only way Xbox will get some 3rd party love is if Microsoft pays for it.and that's exactly how final fantasy 15(the multiplayer game)is now coming to xbox....look Playstation,PC and switch is what's paying the bills lol.

@@Final_Fantasy_7 100% Xbox is getting 16. That exclusivity deal was from 6 months to a year. Xbox will also get 7 Remake and 7 Rebirth. So will PC. They have not signed any agreement like what you're talking about. S-W has put every main FF from 7 through 15, it's gonna happen. 16 will appeal to Xbox fans more because it's not as weeby.

@deiradinn Final fantasy PC no problem it's nothing new.but even FF7 remake on xbox ? Never happened, and it never will.final fantasy sells more on Playstation than PC and xbox combined.square does not want final fantasy on gamepass...and square has lost too much money on past final fantasy games on xbox japan.

@@Darkwind13 It happened with the music of all composers, incl. Soken, during Endwalker's launch. Hungrychad almost had their channel taken down, whereismyspoon stopped uploading for a year, Mekkah Dee hasn't uploaded since the expac dropped. Obviously this isn't on the people making the music, it's upper management making these choices. So far nothing has happened, but be careful during the full launch as they may start taking stuff down for the first month or so (most likely in a vain attempt to get soundtrack sales).

That’s kind of the issue. You know how ff8 music wouldn’t fit in ff9 and FFx music wouldn’t fit in 12? Hell even 13 had a unique style to its music…and while I’m enjoying the game it’s …lacking a lot of love…

When it’s reuses assets from other games, has characters with zero emotion or growth and the game has decided that it would rather be devil may cry than final fantasy then you know those that made it have no love for “final fantasy”.

when 0:39 plays during your training it just gives such strong “young protagonist about to set off on a life changing journey but he doesnt even know it yet” vibes. Like Sora on his island in the beginning of Kingdom Hearts. I dont know how to explain it

Considering the home he grew up in got swallowed by darkness, it's not all too different from Clive and Joshua. Phoenix Gate got burned to ash by Ifrit, and the two brothers became separated, just like Sora and Riku. And in similarity to keep them on the straight and narrow, Sora had Kairi while Clive had Jill. I swear, SE just loves to throw out cross-references in even the most underwhelming way.
