It was honestly the best voice in the game for the best character. Her range was impressive, I especially liked how mellow and soft her voice can be.

As a very, very long time ff fan, Jill shot up the ranks as one of my favourite FF characters because of her voice acting. Her character visual design is a little bit generic, her voice actress gave her so many dimensions.

Huge props to Nina, was completely amazed by her acting and Benedikta ended up one of my favorite characters. The entire game had amazing voice-acting and I hope it remains the standard for FFs to come.

I know its been said before but there are heavy hints in the game that he survived, but I get it, after so many weeks of playing I wish they would've showned a more explicit ending.

@@lavarithat’s actually a very good point that I personally had not thought about. Taking Cid’s name in many ways is a Chekov’s Gun, setting up that it may happen. Clive used many names. Clive, Wyvern, Cid The Outlaw, and Lord Underhill. Nothing to stop him from using the quill Harpocrates gave him to pen a book of his adventures under Joshua’s name that his brother may live on.

Susannah Fielding honestly deserves an award for her performance as Jill, I haven't even finished the game but about 40 hours in and her voice work consistently sounds so emotional and believable at the same time All the VAs really are a highlight of the game

The voice acting in this game is some of the best ever seen in a video game. Incredible range, emotion, and the characters felt more real than any FF game before it because of the well written dialogue and the incredible voice talent. Superb.

I agree 100%. I didnt think i could ever love the characters in a FF game as much as i do FF7. But man they really nailed it. I’m halfway through the game and extremely pleased with the story and gameplay.

I finished Spider-Man 2 weeks ago, and I can say without a doubt as an adult gamer with over 35+ years of experience, FFXVI deserved to be nominated and win GOTY... I'm upset with the amount of the younger generation that wants to HATE on everything, your game brought me more joy, then GOW Ragnarok, Spider-Man 2, combined and I'm a huge Sony fan, but the music, VA, cinematic cutscenes, story, and epic game play etc. That FFXVI brought was second to none IMO.. Thanks to everyone who poured there hearts and soul into that game, and know it's definitely my Game of The Year 2023.... 😊

Especially after SE finally released the patch 1.03 which fix motion blur causing sickness issue so I start playing again! (The shimmer on edges of characters and some objects are still there, but without mention blur things get A LOT better now!)

The voice acting in this game is top notch, especially Ben and Susannah. The scream Jill makes when you die is more than enough motivation for a person to never want to reach 0 hp. I hope they iterate on the things that worked well in the game and bring out a sequel or DLC with more Final Fantasy game design tropes like actually having a controllable party, elemental weaknesses and status effects.

They actually went English first! So that makes a bigger deal imo. Translating oftens times isn't as good, cause either they don't care or whatever. But if it's the only language at first, you kinda gotta do well the first time. Not everytime, but it helps

I finished the game a few days ago. One of the best stories I've experienced in a game. Twice, I had to take a moment during the story to gather myself because I was surging with so many different emotions. Especially the ending. The worst part about this game... it ended.
