Despite the cutbacks from the arcade version, this is a bad ass game. At least it gave Sega the balls to make Streets of Rage :)

Given the tech differences at the time between the Super Famicom and the arcade game, plus the fact that it was a launch title, it's a really great port. It's not perfect, but it was never going to be on such an underpowered home system.

@@nebularain3338 It could've been a bit better if Capcom had gone with a bigger cart in RAM size. A 16 meg cart, or the later 32 meg carts would've allowed the missing stage and Guy to be put in. As it is, it's an 8 meg cart, the standard at the start of the SNES's life.

Some say the Andore dudes were a complete joke by Final Fight 3, whereas in Final Fight and the second, they looked menacing and hard to beat.

Along with Roxy too. But you were able to play as Guy in his version of this game on the Super NES/Famicom. But you still couldn't play the game with two players, with a whole level still missing though.

@tommybrown9534 Yes, Final Fight and Streets of Rage video game series are both side-scrolling beat-'em-up video games. But Final Fight was released before Streets of Rage. Final Fight (Arcade) was very first released in Japan on November 25, 1989 and Streets of Rage (Sega Mega Drive) was very first released in Japan on August 2, 1991.
