This game is actually really dark. Explanation: Playtime co. Was founded in 1930 by Elliott Ludwig. Elliot Ludwig lived a happy married life until his wife divorced and left him. After his divorce, he adopted a daughter then started this company called playtime co. His toy company was a great success. Later on Elliott Ludwig announced playcare, an orphanage (the location we were in chapter 3) Everything was going well until some employees filed a case against this company due some reasons which are still not specified. Harley Sawyer who was known as the doctor, later suggested the idea of "bigger bodies initiative" (this was confirmed in a vhs tape). He thought that if the people working in the company weren't people, no one would suspect a thing. They first tested on rats and small animals (this was written on a paper in Elliott Ludwig's office in chapter 2) in the end of the paper, it was written that "maybe something larger would work". The first experiment on a human being was 1006 known as the prototype (the robotic hand in the end of chapter 2 and 3) There's a theory suggesting that Elliott Ludwig is the first experiment, the prototype. As the doctor insisted that we should test on the orphans in the playcare, Elliot maybe disapproved of the idea and due to this he became the first experiment "the prototype" The creation of 1006 led to the creation of kissy missy (which bbs mistook as mommy long legs) huggy wuggy and other monsters we saw in chap 1,2 and 3. Mommy long legs was an orphan named marie payne. Those tests and puzzles we played in chapter 2 were actually used to test orphans abilities and marie improved a lot which led to her becoming a monster. The prototype tried to save her 2 times before but failed. Huggy wuggy and kissy missy are still unknown of what were they before but they were definitely the orphans in playcare. Catnap was also an orphan in playcare. His name was Theodore grambell. The prototype befriended him when he was a child. The prototype suspected that Theodore is going to become the next experiment so he planned to make him escape. But during the process of making him escape, Theodore got injured while using the grabpack. The prototype had no choice but to take him back to playcare. The prototype saved his life but unfortunately Theodore was turned into catnap... This is why catnap worships him. Even the smiling critters were once children. Many children died due to testing and the successful ones are now tortured in the body of a toy The prototype was very clever and smart, a vhs tape reported that he created a laser using an alarm clock placed near him. In one vhs tape, we can hear him talk to Harley Sawyer (the doctor). The prototype asked him a question then he thanked him and told him that he learns new things about him everyday (which is why he was able to control screens and the toys) The prototype didn't want this bigger bodies initiative to boost more so he planned to kill everyone. Not everyone working in the company knew that this montrocity was happening inside the company.He hacked the security rooms, computer screens and encouraged the toys to go on a killing spree... On 8th August 1995, 1006 was successful in completing his mission on killing the employees of playtime co. They called it "the hour of joy" The joy of killing those who have turned them into monsters and neglected them for years. Maybe the prototype is a hero afterall... Poppy explains that they dragged the bodies under somewhere in the factory and ate the bodies to survive. They killed everyone, the guilty, the innocent, everyone. Miss delight was a school teacher (a toy) she had her sisters teach other subjects while she taught human anatomy. After the hour of joy, catnap locked the teachers inside the school because he was scared that they will hurt them (yes, the orphans were still alive after the hour of joy but we dont know where are they) as stuck inside a school with no food sources, the teachers were slowly going insane. The other teachers used to separate miss delight which led to her becoming insane. Miss delight created a weapon with a ruler and pencils (which she used to chase us) and named it barb. She was going insane and started to think that barb is alive and is talking to her. She used that weapon to kill her co workers and then ate the body to survive. Catnap opened the door and after seeing that she was the only one left. He still didn't tell her where were the kids but told her that they were safe. Now in present we, the protagonist visit the abandoned factory we once worked in. The toys are now desperate to kill us because maybe we were also a part of the bigger bodies initiave as miss delight and mommy long legs recognise us. The prototype gave us many chances to leave because if he wanted to kill us, he would have done it way before. Now the remaining question is who is ollie and who is poppy? Poppy tried to help but can't. Mostly the chapter 4 will be last chapter. All of then dead just in an hour. - Thus the "hour" Of joy. and well the "Joy" they felt while killing. - The hour of joy is a revenge on workers from children stuck inside the toys. And Prototype (the matel hand thing) was the one who influenced them on doing this. -58:31 that is kissymissy, she killed everyone because she also under prototype influence at the time, bug i guess she better now. And thats why she getting killed by prototype at end as we can hear her scream and poppy tries to go back and help her. - so maybe chapter 4 will be against prototype, which means it will be last maybe. - and yes the prototype is owner(maybe i could be wrong). Owner loved kids (not like that you sick head). He liked seeing them happy that why he build a place like this for orphans so can be happy with other, mommy long legs was like a mother to them. -He somehow became prototype and since he didn't like that kids being experimented on he planned "The Hour of Joy". *(I know its messy explaination and very much out of order. Actually BBS I agree with you. I played this game and was thinking that they would made it better like the chase scene. It was kinda fun but not as Chapter1 and 2. Chapter 2 was best in series. Main thing here is that all this toy monsters and Poppy were Orphans childrens who were experimented so you can say they are living toys with all the real Organs and Blood inside them because they were the Orphans childrens And our Player was worker here and not just ordinary worker but in high position also But he always felt bad what happening to this children So after the big Argument he leave the factory (But there is the twist here I think our player was the one who freed the toys and let kill his coworkers)(not official) Or after he leave this toys started rampaging and killed everyone And after long he recieved message from a coworker at the very start of the game He went to see that if any of his coworker is alive because all went missing after he left After that you know what happening in Game
