I have yet to watch one Chinese drama that doesn't have the most stupid medical emergencies ever written. If this is truly how Chinese hospitals and medical staff behave then I'm glad I have the NHS. They are so unconvincing. Do people in China not have a recovery room ? This woman just had an operation and is been wheeled out for show. This is not acceptable. The consultant would not be one of those coming out. Recovery room then back to the ward and only then would family and friends be allowed to visit exceptions are children which has one or both parents waiting in recovery. The use of the word abortion is over used when in fact the scene is a miscarriage. Know the difference. The other thing is when they have road accidents as no one told them you should never move a victim of a collision in case they have internal bleeding ? Yet these shows show not only dop they pick them up but they run like crazy to a hospital then run like crazy pushing the victim like it's a 100metre dash.

While some are silly, getting wet and then getting sick seems silly to many, different cultures have different customs and teaching. Vocabulary is also different as is terminology. Try viewing these things as just different for Chinese. I daresay, they have been around for many centuries, and much longer than us in the US. So they must be doing something right.
