I can only imagine the sh** Shockwave would create in response to that. The entire reason Regenesis was a thing was to ensure Cybertron lived forever. (yes, transformers canonically is made up of infinite multiverses which Shockwave compacted into a single ingot of raw power and somehow defeating that sh*t wasn’t enough to earn Megatron the win. Before the fight. Frieza: “Greetings, noble warrior of Planet Cyber-whatever.” After the fight. Frieza: “Cybertronians. Must kill them all.” I like how at the end, Frieza fully acknowledges Cybertronians after what happened with Megatron. He made Frieza hate and also respect what Cybertronians are capable of.

Which is total bias. There’s no damn way IDW Megatron is losing to this blithering ponce. (Reference: he defeated Regenesis Shockwave, who has the power of the entire transformers cosmos under his control at the time. Transformers is hyperversal, with multiple multiverses including other franchises (WHICH INCLUDES F***ING MARVEL) and somehow having the power to destroy ALL OF IT isn’t enough to net Megatron the win against a guy whose best feat is universal. Sorry, but I call bull. That’s not even Megatron’s strongest feat!).
