I didn’t know him personally but to see such a young person who was never in trouble and wanted to make something of their life be murdered so brutally is insane to me. This was so horrible. Most countries, once you're remanded to jail going back and forth to court until a final sentence is issued, any hair you have is scraped off once you hit the processing unit....There will be no braids, dreadlocks, long hair, none of that... Some developing countries, a blade will be used to shave every last piece of hair. I'm sure its the same way in their parents native D.R.. Unfortunately the American penal system allows a lot of freedoms in its institutions. These guys look like they're fresh off the street while they've been in custody for close to 5yrs
