Thank you for all your videos this year. I love to come to your channel for colorful inspiration. I’m a Midwest girl who wishes she was coastal like you. I can’t wait to see what you have in store for next spring!

I appreciate this message so much! It's been great to form friendships - no matter the distance - because we have a love of gardening in common. There's still lots of inspiration to share, and I look forward to continuing on with that. Thank you again so much! 😊

It’s so fun to build connections and learn with people who enjoy the same things. Sadly, my friends are not into gardening. I can’t wait to see what you have in store for us over the winter. I’ll be here for that too!

Hi Nicole, This late in the season your garden still looks good, hard to believe you still have that much color. Hope your panels come in soon! 🌺😘🌺
@mycarolinagarden2 күн бұрын
Thank you so much! The panels are just late enough that I have to do extra work moving stuff inside, then to the greenhouse. Oh well, it is what it is. Thank you so much for all of the comments and support! Have a great evening!

Enjoyed the video! Thank you for the info on how long we can expect greenhouse materials to last. I follow a girl in Palm Beach who had a Harbor Freight greenhouse & she had the same problem as you so her husband built her one out of 2x4’s & used the wavy clear plastic on the sides & roof. you can find at Lowe’s. It’s a year old & still holding up but I’m sure plastic over time will need replacing. I’m in middle GA, zone 8b & I’ve still got all my tropicals outside. The lowest is going to be 46 for another week with sun & mid 70’s. I wait for as long as I can & then Im running like a mad woman! lol I’ve got alot more than tropicals outside like several crown of thorns & epiphyllums, things like that. Sheesh. So much work! My garage ends up looking like a garden center! lol Take care❤ Your GA gardening friend

Thank you so much for this thoughtful message! I know exactly what you're talking about with the wavy plastic panels. I can't use them to insert into my metal slots, but yes, we could build a new structure. 😬 Can you imagine - you spend money like that and it doesn't last. YIKES. I hear you working like a mad woman when the temps drop for real. 😂 There's something to appreciate when your garage looks like a garden center though. Thanks so much for writing from GA. Have a great weekend!

I want to try yucca in my backyard garden, I need more evergreen back there. I just don't know if it'll survive the wet winter. I did install a French drain so I'm going to see how well that works 🤞 You should under plant that cabbage head with some purple violas 😁 It's so cute just sticking up like that!

Thank you for such a great end-of-year tour! I only found you a few months ago but very inspired for my own Zone 8B gardening plans next year! Just 18 months here in Wilmington after a lifetime of New England gardening and there is much to learn. I appreciate you! p.s. If you ever do a local workshop or tour, please let us know 😀

I appreciate this message so much! First I'm glad you found me, and second, I think we've talked about this before, but I also spent a good portion of my life in the north. You're right - there is a lot to learn, so much is different here. BUT, I'm glad we get to learn and share things, and I'm so thrilled with the outpouring of support I've gotten from the gardening community. Much more inspiration to share, for sure, and I will certainly let you know if I do anything locally. Thank you. I appreciate you.

Your garden is so inspiring! I love watching your garden tours. Do you mind telling me where you buy your big pots? I love the color and shape of the green pot at the end of the video. Thank you for the video!

Hard to believe the growing season is coming to an end already. I have enjoyed each one of your videos, especially since I had a recent hip replacement, and I can't get out to work in my flower beds. One question. Do you have any peonies? They do really well in Wilmington. I do wish they bloomed longer, but the foliage is beautiful, too. ❤
@mycarolinagarden2 күн бұрын
I appreciate the support and you watching my videos. I am genuinely sad about the growing season being over. Funny, I have no success with Peonies. I use to have an abundance when I lived north, but I can't get them to grow here. Wish I could, they are gorgeous. Have a great day!
@sherryspears9292 күн бұрын
@mycarolinagarden I moved to Wilmington from the NC mountains, and I found you have to almost set the peony plants on top of the ground to make sure they receive enough of the cold temps they need.
