Im honestly more impressed with Chang Jun Lins smile after Germany's celebration 2:54:36. Such a genuine smile regardless of the outcome. Truely a seasoned vetrean and phenomenal display of sportsmanship. Especially, considering the controversal foul where i feel a lot of players would be unable to hold their temper/emotions.

Nothing controversial, you are not allowed to touch the cue ball with your tip. You can adjust it with your hand or ferrule only. He actually did this recently in a matchroom event but the referees were local and oblivious to the rule so no one called anything on him and he maybe taught it was okay and allowed.

@@raskolnjikov1 Actually rules allow using the tip but not with a forward stroke motion, and he exactly did stroke with a forward motion. Here is the related part in the WPA rules: "Players may use any part of the cue stick to move the cue ball, including the tip, but not with a forward stroke motion." Also the forward stroke is not a foul itself, but it became a foul because forward stroke is considered as a shot and he touched the ball again just after that "shot", also if he didn't even touch the ball it would be a foul since he couldn't have hit the legal object ball or drive any ball to the rail after contact with that "shot".

She WAS the weakest link she shot poorly and lost 0-3 in singles. Josh carried her in doubles. The (correct) silly technical foul call helped Josh in singles. During the shootout she didn’t choke you’re right about that she made one amazing shot. Fyi pros make those 30+ times in a row during practice it’s not a hard shot. She’s like 690 fargo she’s supposed to make it. Prob easier for her cause everyone expects her to miss, less pressure.

Taiwan also has the Ko Brothers, Ko Pin Yi and Ko Ping Chung, and Ping Han, they are exceptionally good. They are more fun, entertaining, warm friendly, made more of international friends despite their limited english. Pool sports will grow and invite more audience only if it is presented in a more entertaining sometimes dramatic atmospheres.

I am not new to Pool, I have been playing since I was 14 years old. I am now 72. I just believe a person gets to where they are by their own play. They do not have people there coaching them when they are in tournaments, they sit by themselves and make their own decisions. I have a world full of respect for both Joshua, Pia and Moritz. I know Joshua is better than both of them put together, but that’s not the point, they didn’t get to where they are because Joshua or some other coach was with them when they were playing and telling them how to shoot what in every tournament. I have an instructor yet to this day, but he is not there with me when I play leagues or a tournament. I take what he taught me and do the best I can with it.
