@@claphands-pr2vt but consider the circumstances of the World Cup. Clearly, Michael Smith/Rob Cross are (individually speaking) better players than Gabriel Clemens/Martin Schindler. I do think that teamwork and the chemistry they had paid off in the end and led to Germany beating England. Also, with the Philippines, you could easily see that scoring for Ilagan was not the problem, while he at times was a bit shaky at the doubles. Then Perez was there to check out and Ilagan most certainly knew that he could count on him doing so most of the time. Gives you a good feeling on the oche if you know your mate's got your back if you fail to hit the target. So I kinda disagree with what you said on that one, unfortunately

Brilliant matches again today, it was good to see Dimi and Kim putting aside their differences for their country. Sweden v Italy was such a good one to watch, that 103 checkout from Sweden was absolutely clutch when Italy were on Tops for the match, really liking some of these teams and they look like can do some real damage in the tournament. I hope this tournament can kick start Devon Peterson again coz he is a fantastic player on his day and South Africa have done well so far. Poland were just breathtaking with that unbelievable record breaking average. They look a massive threat to anyone. Germany and Australia also both looking extremely strong and im liking what im seeing from Canada, France and Phillipines as well. Its gonna be an amazing day tomorrow with Netherlands v Belgium the pick of the tie for sure. I cant wait till tomorrow. Im rooting for Wales but i just wanna see amazing darts and this pairs format is so good.

Both the Aussies and Croats have avareged less than 90, so I'd say it could go either way, with a slight advantage to the defending champions. Once again, fingers crossed.

@@joshmac749 It's quite common in Asian countries, soft and steel tip, to have a real showpiece looking barrel, designer flights of different colours to represent all manner of things both cultural and personal, and to treat the game with much more respect than you might see in Europe or the UK. I personally think it looks cool but professionally speaking, two or even three contrasting colours will draw the eye, and you simply can't have any kind of distraction up on the stage; conversely, nobody who does this has ever won a major trophy in the BDO, WDF or PDC.

The other 4 Nations have better ranked Players. 7 of the 8 Players from England, Netherlands, Scotland and Wales are in the Top 10 and from Australia is nobody in the Top 10. And winning 4:0 against Guyana and Gibraltar isn't something special. And beeing seeded isn't a big advantage. You can see that the Netherlands now face Belgium and Australia have to play against Croatia, which is a lot easier
