It is a selection process for the NWA meet 2024. This is within a clan/khel in Kohima village. After this , each clan in the village will field their teams, and the best among them will compete in their respective areas-Northern Angami, Western Angami, Southern Angami, and Chakhroma Angami. The top players from each region will advance to the Angami level, and the best from there will represent in the NWA meet, likely taking place in March 2024. Additionally, the Chakhesang and Zeliang will follow a similar selection process from grassroots to area levels to send their players to the NWA meet 2024.
