Indie authors! Foundational text of forensic psychology sounds interesting too. I grabbed an e-copy of Chains of Prophecy after listening to your interview with the writer. @@BryanM.R.-prionic1 I have only read two urban fantasies, both indie. Chains was the better one but I haven’t read a trad pub urban fantasy so it is hard to compare. Also, my ratings for indie books are admittedly inflated a little bit.

@DrL_Reads Well, I have read zero urban fantasies, so I'm going in pretty free of expectations. It was mostly the writer's talk about angelology, demonology, Satan vs Lucifer, and relevant texts such as Isaiah, Ezekiel, Job, and Enoch that sparked my curiosity. 😜
