Before you finished the game, I recommend doing the secret boss fight and getting the true ending. The boss fight is the best in the game and gives you the finale ending cutscene. To get it, you need to complete all the secret area quests, then go back to the pagoda(the painting room), and then the fight unlocks

Afro there is a secret boss that is honestly the coolest in the game. If you beat it then you also unlock the true ending. It’s located in the great pagoda back in chapter 3 (the room with the massive Buddha statue that you couldn’t do anything with).

I used Spellbind against the Deer (I’ve used it against most bosses since unlocking it), it is such a powerful spell, combine that with medicine that boosts crit rate and your damage output and you’re just an absolute unit.

here's a tip: Use the Mythical Loong Drink that allows 4 soaks (easily found in the palace where u fought Yin Yang Fish), it allows 30% of your Health recovered. But then you can ignite the 4th Relic ability that increases health recovery for each soak. so because u have 4 soaks, that means it'll increased by 4 folds

Hey afro I don't know if you are gonna see this but you can get both endings. Follow chapter 6 and finish game normally to get bad ending and then without going to ng+ go to great pagoda beat secret boss then beat chapter 6 final boss again to get true ending. You have to beat the final boss twice but you can then better understanding why thats called secret ending

After chapter 5, if you’ve done all the secrets, you can go straight from the very first shrine in Chapter 6 (Verdant Path) and travel back to chapter 3’s Great Pagoda, and you can do it before you even begin tackling chapter 6. That’s what I did every time after getting the bad ending. 4 playthroughs later, I got the Wukong stance.

there are 3 more bosses in chapter 6 you havnt done yet the hippo the green rock thingy you see sitting on the cliff in chapter 6 (he is the one from the trailer) and there is a secret boss as well in chapter 6 you need to have collected all the stones from the monkey you saw in chapter 1 and 3 (i think u have all of them) and then there is the secret boss for the true ending, you need to go to the great pagoda shrine and do it there and then go to the final boss this has been a fantastic series btw and i really wish you do extra videos after you finish the game cuz there are some stuff that you dont unlock until ng+ and ng+++ and i think we all would love to see your reaction to them :).

You should really try Yin Tiger’s spell Windwalker. Fully charge your focus and then hit the same command you use for immobilize and he would have caught up with that deer every time he tried to hop away in one sword swing.
