Thanks a lot VioleTAK, you've brought many excellent games to the casual KZbin community. Your mini write-ups for the VODs are always a pleasure to read, truly capturing the great atmosphere of professional SC in Korea and the influence of the pros. This is the closest many of us are going to get. Thank you.

I knew of the greats like Boxer before first seeing your youtube account. However, since then... I think all these videos made me a better player. I've started seeing what real micros and macros look like, and... well... Yeah. These videos you've been posting have been helping my game more than anything. So... thanks, VioleTAK, and we'll miss you.

wow at 19:10-19:30 it was just pure ownage. it was funny looking at the remaining lurkers running for their lives. the macro of both guys was just awesome. i just think july lacked a bit of micro on his defilers. especially during the very first clash where he didn't have any defilers at all. but it was a great play by both guys. thanks for posting this.

@TheTheo86 that makes it for any range attacks (aka most of all the terrans units) will be absorbed by it and do no damage to units under it. Only melee are able to hurt the units under that cloud.

i wish he would teach unaccordingly and dedicate his manners toward equality and humility where he represented his mind as a symbol for our understanding of such potential we may contain inevitably while choosing our best to encircle what we hold dear in life as quickness and the beauty of intention, and how it may render us responsible, not once but every single second of opportunistic space. hail.

Now THAT was StarCraft. Awesome match, awesome game to watch. Do you think that StarCraft 2 will be replacing StarCraft in Korea? I wouldn't expect it to have the epic balance when StarCraft 2 is released, but even StarCraft evolved from release to what it is.

if your about to be killed (or defeated) in starcraft you pull all your minerals and build w/e you can to try and hold/kill the enemy, usually it doesn't work just prolonges the inevitable but this time it was diff.

@Sazones13 жыл бұрын
I didn't understand a word, but i certainly understand a epic battle!
@jebril14 жыл бұрын
@Rebel4Life69 I dunno what makes you say that I'm a rank A, :\ Guardians are good, just cuz they're slow and expensive doesn't mean they're bad. They beat out any ground unit in hordes with proper micro.
@spoonalisk12 жыл бұрын
It's not so much the overall metagame that changed, it's just that boxer went for a different style (more mech heavy that is) that changed Julyzerg's playstyle by nessecity
@jebril14 жыл бұрын
@Rebel4Life69 If you protect em' well with other units they won't die that easily and they'll be incredibly devastating in terms of a back up to say a Zergling + Scourge rush with some Hydralisks in the mix.
@Azrichiel16 жыл бұрын
There's a gamble with that and most of the time no they can't(it's not in view). The gamble is that it wouldn't show anything worthwhile and they would lose precious seconds of concentration. The smallest things can make huge differences in Pro Starcraft and what seems like a short amount of time to us is an eternity to them due to the speed at which they play.
@Roochfan2016 жыл бұрын
Yeah, problem there was that July decided not to invest on Scourges to take out Sci-Vessels. Hydras were good but not as effective as Scourges would've been.
@YewTo0b14 жыл бұрын
@diekontrolleure that can all be 1 hotkey if u want, just use tab to cycle
@RiceRockers14 жыл бұрын
@eppelpai you can make zerglings, defiler, lurkers and/or hydras and use the zerglings to attack buying you time to put the defilers plague (orange cloud) over your hydras and your lurkers... they will lose everything while the only things u will lose will be your zerglings unless they have melee units aka zealots or firebats
@davidangel6416 жыл бұрын
haha i used to do that all the time. that and fast reaver drop on Challenger :)
@allmhuran15 жыл бұрын
Is target shooting a sport? It's in the olympic decathalon, so unless you're willing to say that the olympics includes "non sports", I think you'd have a problem arguing that shooting isn't a sport. But target shooting requires less physical exertion than starcraft. Make of that what you will.

It's actually quite simple. Quickly send all of the SCVs to one mineral, then click on one, quickly send it to another mineral, click on one, quickly send it to another mineral etc. Easy? That must be done while they run :)
@pianomikey016 жыл бұрын
Yes, but I think it'll take at least a few years while balancing issues are worked out. SC2 will be hobby for the pros, while SC1 will be all business.
