I still can't get over that translator, Iris mentioned her medical studies 3x in her answer and he didn't mention it once, making it sound like she was talking about a silly casting call. I'm glad she still won.

Don't understand French but I'm sure I heard something about medicine at least twice! I too am glad she still won because she had the best answer regardless

I'm not even french and i knew the translator had messed up.

@@AP-ts3lf Now I love her even more 😍 In 2018 the Vietnamese translator got H'Hen Nie's answer so wrong and it seemed to lack substance. She definitely deserved top 3 that year

@@colourqueen22 poor girl! I understand the difficulty and pressure of translating what someone is saying in real time on live tv but you can stray that much away from what they're saying especially when there is a life changing title at stake lol

Sorry, guys. I've seen many people comment that Haiti was confused and clumsy, but her answer was the best and she was the only one who spoke in English, which coming from her country is truly impressive. Iris is the prettiest, though.

Who’ve ever would had won that year , well deserved. But Haiti was the one I was rooting for.

Still wondering why did the translator stayed there for Haiti but did not translate it when she clearly did not understand the question and asked for it to be repeated.

Wow the only one who actually answered the question well was France. Columbia’s answer was terrible 😂 Haiti came across dramatic 😂

Haiti doesn't have the best answer, simply because it didn't answer the question well. The winner's answer is coherent, realistic and relates to the question above all, objectively, France has the best answer
