Superb match racing by TNZ! 😀 How good was that! Getting a glimpse of how wicked this is going to be at the business end🎉🎉

@phillipmurray1724 Yeah, it's very good to see that in the team. One of the biggest weaknesses of Burling in past cycles has been that he often ignored some match racing principals/tactics. Perhaps it's the effect of Outeridge being cohelm, but it's very good from the team this time around.

What I'm finding frustrating is that due to the very open nature of coverage for this cycle of the cup, there are likely many people watching and commenting on the races that have little to no awareness of how sailing works. How dependent performance is on connecting wind shifts and being in phase with those shifts. You hear the sailors and commentary team using the jargon, but they seem to assume the entire global audience are avid sailors! That's doing a disservice to the sport and encouraging misinformed opinions and arguments.

It doesn’t help when you have older Mcivor in there saying “Wow the Americans are so fast compared to NZ”. He clearly doesn’t understand.

@dadcooks1347 Yeah, it's OK to add some color and spice to the commentary with statements like that, but please wrap it with relevant explanation of the conditions involved, for those not so informed/aware of those controlling factors on the boats.
