Final Ride! Schindler Hydraulic Elevator at Macys - Chesterfield Mall - Chesterfield, MO

(October 2022) This is one last ride on the Schindler elevator in Macy's at the Chesterfield Mall in Chesterfield, MO. This store closed down in October of 2022, and this video was taken a couple of days before the store officially closed its doors. This elevator is a Schindler that was installed in 1995. It has Adams fixtures which is not really common to see on a Schindler. This elevator wasn't anything super special, but it is sad to see it no longer accessible!

This looks like an older Abell because older Abells (pre-2000/05) had Adams fixtures.

The elevator at the former Sears at Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg had an Adams call button, but the rest was long bar MT.
