You don't have to be so conservative with xp books until later on. You can comfortably level all your characters to at least 50 without worrying too much. After that it's better to pick and choose who to invest into since the material requirement exponentially increases. For now though just max all your characters, you'll really feel the power increase lol.

The Cannibal Thing: Diluc is basically Mondstadt's batman and usually interrogates people before killing them with Adeline(the maid) being he person who covers up. Also he uses their dead bodies in the winery for the soil which is why the wine tastes so good.

And just to add, you get a decent amount of them. You'll have trouble if you try to max-level all your characters, but your preferred 4 to max and a handful high enough to swap in of you need a specific element, eg, is easy.

When you are In a battle you keep feeding your characters sticky honey roast and then they don’t heal, this is because different foods do different things, like sticky honey roast boosts your stamina, so look for the symbols on the food + means heal ++ means heal overtime a shield increases def a sword can increase crit rate or DMG or atk and the orange person means stamina, and the little green face means revive, if you are confused you can read the description of what the food does. Regarding alchemy, just approach the reliable Timaeus in front of the fountain in Monstadt. He'll teach you how to do it. This is also a short world quest, kinda like the Wagner one with enhancement ores.

Hey ! Just a small but useful tip: You should level your weapons up (in the same way you level characters, it just uses enhancement ore and not books). It makes quite a difference, especially at your stage :)) I promise you, enemies will take much less time to kill ! Also, when you want to get them past level 20, it’s actually quite easy: at lvl 20, in the enhancement screen, just click on the material you’re missing, and it shows you which domain you have to do to get it (just be aware that different materials are available depending on the day of the week). 15:00 for this mitachurl fight, there was a pretty easy way to break the shield the bombs that the red hilichurl throws are pyro, so you could have used your traveler's elemental skill or burst to swirl the pyro onto the shield, which would have burned it. however, your xingqiu probably would have put it out again so there's that

Just a tip about the enemies. The hydro samachurls (ugly short blue hilichurls with clubs that make it rain) can heal the other enemies, so you wanna take them out first because otherwise figting the other guys could be useless since theyre just constantly healed

So fun seeing you getting to Stormterror! This is for sure my favourite genshin series on youtube at the moment! For the Seelies, when you are next to the Seelie's home, the elemental sight shows you the direction that the seelies are located. So if you follow the elemental trail in a straight line you'll likely soon find the seelie! For Alchemy, every major city has an alchemy table, so all you have to do is interact with it. In Mondstadt it's next to the general store and if you jump down from the waypoint it's right there. And the books you use for levelling up characters are ONLY used for leveling up characters, so the only thing to worry about it, is that it's up to you which characters you wish to prioritize to level up! The domains you unlocked by leveling up is for getting special materials for ascending characters and/or weapons that aren't dropped by enemies or chests. And while a lot of people suggest that you can go wherever you want to get materials and such, I will be one of those that will recommend playing it as you already do! I think this way of playing offers a way more fun experience where you'll always have something to look forward to in terms of exploration and seeing new sights! It's sometimes annoying that some characters will be unable to be used for a while, due to not having the necessary materials available, but as someone who values the exploration and discoveries to be made in the game, it's worth it for me! But if you were to change your mind later, that's also okay!

Fun fact: There's an achievement for going to the tippy top of the tower + a nice chest right below it. General Tip: Now that you're fighting stronger enemies, the game assumes your main team is max leveled with mostly max leveled artifacts. Also the game was made to use healers so that you're not constantly relying on food to heal up. Great video so far, to answer some of your questions: 9:38, so leveling characters (and artifacts) comes with the advantage that fighting bosses doesn't require you to have others join and do the work. Knockback mechanics are level dependent as higher level enemies can easily knock you back whereas lower level enemies can not. 23:37: lots of anemoculus here in the area and it takes a good 45 minutes to get them all, definitely a great commissioning cabbage episode 25:02: Completing a domain gives you either artifacts, character talent material, or weapon ascension material depending on the type of domain. Some of these domains (character talent and weapon ascension) give different drops per day and run on a 3-day cycle (Monday, Tues, Wed have different drops). Domains for the most part are easier to do solo but you can coop them. 25:21: Alchemy = just go to Timeaus' area (across good hunter) and he has a crafting table where you can craft things.

OH YEAH I don’t know if anyone’s mentioned this before, but city reputation is very important! There’s a world quest that has you talk Heartha or smth at one of the side gates of mondstadt. She’ll give you weekly short quests and monsters to fight and you’ll slowly level up the reputation for rewards. One of these rewards is the compass, which will reveal where chests are hiding around the area you’re standing in. You can revisit old areas and look for chests using the treasure compass!

Easy tips for genshin beginners! Progressing through the main quests will require you to clear more difficult enemies so youll need stronger characters Heres the key things to know early game: 1. Give key characters higher lvl weapons. Enhance these as much as possible to add more damage 2. Artifacts are also available to boost character stats, but take a long time to gather. Still worth doing it, just dont stress about trying to find a perfect build 3. Constellations also help but are not necessary for stronger characters 4. Talents show the individual strength of each characters skill, level these when you can 5. Level characters as much as possible, as high as you can go. i play genshin alone from the very beginning until now. no co-op friend and i learn almost every genshin's pattern by myself, like if you're fighting a bunch of enemies (hilichruls/fatui), always fight the one who has hydro element first because they can heal their friends so if you fight the other first that would be seemingly an endless battle because your opponent has healer.

Good job on finishing Mondstadts archon quest! i have a few tips! one, when feeding characters food, notice there are small symbols in the top left corner of each dish. different dishes have different effects, and not all of them heal. you can also read their effects in their descriptions. two, the elemental sight seele thing - the teal trail that shows up points you to the direction of the seele. so if you follow the way in which the trail is pointing, you will find the seele. three, the alchemy table is right next to the fountain in mondstadt city. if you teleport to the mondstadt teleport waypoint and jump down to where the fountain is and turn left, you will see a guy named timaeus and a table where you can craft things, like enhancement materials and the domains you unlocked are for artifacts. it’s mostly recommended to not do them much until you’re ar45, when you can get 5* artifacts of the designated sets. that is all the tips i have to give right now. i cannot wait to see you play through liyue! i know that if you liked mondstadt, you will LOVE each next nation, because the quests just get better!

early game it's definitely worth it to use the books and level the characters you use as high as you can!! right now you're spending a lot of time fighting smaller enemies because of how underleveled your characters are, and I would suggest at your current AR to level your characters to lvl 40 (or close to 40 as possible). you can use ley lines (the glowing yellow or blue orb things found on the map) to farm for more mora and xp books. also, take the quests at whatever pace you want to play them, sure it's taking a while but it's not a race to get caught up :)

Don't worry about wasting your EXP books to level your characters, they are important but they're not difficult to accumulate. Once your world level increases you can farm a lot of EXP books just from doing ley line challenges, (Blue ley line gives you character EXP books, Gold ley line gives you mora) plus you'll easily stockpile them from completing quests, opening chests and from event rewards. On my main account I have thousands of unused EXP books. You can farm ley lines now but it's not optimal when your world level is low, once it increases the ley line rewards get much better. In your case since you're not really using your resin for anything at the moment anyway, doing ley lines isn't a bad idea.

25:17 Alchemy is very easy to use. You only need to go those crafting tables (for example one is in Mondstadt central square where is that fountain and Good Hunter) and choose what you want to craft. You can, for example, craft weapon and character ascension materials and character talent materials. You just have to choose what you want to craft and the game tells you what materials you need to do that. Also, some characters have special passive talents that help a lot when you're crafting something, for example Xingqiu has a chance give you some of character talent book materials back. 24:55 Domains of blessings are artifact domains where you can farm artifacts. It's not something you should really worry about right now, it's more so for later, closer to ar 40 i think. Currently, any artifacts you find from chests or quests should do fine. 25:18 In Mondstadt (and all main citiies tbh) there's a crafting table, next to Timeus. You can interact with it and there you can find different crafting recipes. In short: 1st tab is to craft materials into higher quality materials, those there mostly used for character/weapons leveling and a few other things like fishing baits, potions (they're kinda not worth it), compases for Oculi (you get recipes for those as rewards for doing reputation quests, there will be a marker on the map where to get them when they become accessible) 2nd tab is for converting boss materials and some other stuff (mostly boss materials). After defeating weekly bosses you get 1-3 of the boss materials (from a random 3 that each boss has). Additionally, there's a chance to get a "dream solvent" which is used to convert materials into different materials (it works only for materials of the same boss, so you can't convert materials of say Dvalin into materials of another boss) 3rd tab is for artifact strong boxes. Basically, you can convert 3 5* artifacts into 1 artifact of 1 of the sets available there. The sets there are lagging behind, so with fontaine, we got artifact sets from inazuma, next year, they will add artifact sets from sumeru etc. 26:22 This is something that doesn't have a specific quest as far as i remember. It's mostly hidden in the environment and descriptions of items/weapons etc. If you want to, you have already pinned my doc in geal-4 channel, so you can always find info there structure more or less chronologically for each story. Levelling up your characters right now _might_ be a bit overkill right now it's definitely worth levelling your weapons. Getting them to about the same level of your characters should be more than fine but picking the ones with the stats you need will make a massive difference. It's a similar principle with artifacts, the right stats can make a big difference. For example, the claymore you have on Freminet helps him do some reactions better but others might help with his solo damage. You just have to pick and choose how you wanna use him. Alchemy is pretty simple. It's kind of like cooking where you just pick a character and a item to craft and you can use it to make materials you need for upgrading characters or weapons. You'll really only start needing to do it when you start going above lvl 40 on stuff. The auto play feature is a bit weird in the early content. It cuts off characters before their voicelines finish. The food you ate two of does not have healing. It was a stamina thing. The menus pause the game in singleplayer so it's fine to double check this stuff. Oh and part of the reason you nearly died at the first light actuator was because the enemies can exploit reactions on you the same way the player can. Those two are pretty easy to deal with but together they could just exploit Burning. A tip for situations like that, deal with the enemy that you can take out the fastest.

Small tip: using the dash button to dodge makes things much easier, dashing gives invincibility frames, while just jumping away doesn’t really do anything W content tho

alchemy is easy. there is a crafting bench on mondstadt square, in front of timaus. craft anything there, and it should complete the alchemy quest. what you make doesnt matter for now, so just do a hilichurl mask
