Final speed trials of Kashmir train held on Katra-Banihal section

J&K: The final speed trials on the Katra-Banihal section of the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL) project were held today as part of the mandatory inspection by the Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS).

This train originated from katra itself.

Katra has been connected with a rail line for ages. And srinagar was connected with sanghaldan, so this project aimed to connect katra , banihal and sanghaldan together by a rail line. Hence connecting sringar from rest of india by a rail line
