in the A4 hand when he had K 10 do you think he'd be shoving on you with his whole range on the turn even after you called the flop bet and have no fold equity? as you said in the video he knows you have a lot of 10x and potentially some draws but if you were in his shoes would you try to bluff / semi-bluff that spot when there is little to no fold equity? At 23.16 where you flop quads, i am bit confused , obviously not saying your wrong, i never comment for thinking that, after all i watcn these to learn, but i assume saying ace 7 is great bluffing hand, but surely you not targeting pairs to fold and you are beating everything that not an ace or pair, so just leaves targeting better aces to fold but then you are blocking their folds! Isnt that a problem, or are you targeting pairs with 4 outs and maybe clearing villains equity when they have 6 out hands like KQ etc?
@RaiseYourEdge3 жыл бұрын
if you check raise flop, bet turn and jam river you start targeting overpairs which should fold. And blocking quads is very important. You also unblock a lot of JT QJ KJ hands which cbet the flop and fold to a raise.

@@RaiseYourEdge i would have called the flop, check the turn and let him lead out. If he has something like a mid-high pocket pair, I don't think hes folding. If he was just stabbing with Ace high, probably no value either way. I just feel the check raise on the flop was a little too strong imo

@@RaiseYourEdge the only value you'll get from him is what he's willing to lead with. Unless he has aces or Kings, shoving or playing aggressively into him will just induce a fold. I could be wrong. Again, we play different stakes. In the $109, I flopped quad sevens heads up, both fairly deep (40+ BB) 20 from the money. Check called flop for 3bb into a 8bb pot, he led the turn for 9bb, and I bet the river and he called off with 10-10 on a 7-7-7-8-6 board. I guess it's entirely open for interpretation and the settings. I don't see them often enough to be a expert on playing them. I've always slow played as much as possible. You got some balls to do those bluffs with 10k$ buyins :) but ye your bankroll is obviously also very big. Only with the big 3bet preflop with 6-8 I'd bet bigger on the flop, high chance ur opponent missed the flop and u gotta protect ur hand there. If you bet big your opponent will most likely believe you have a premium pair and will fold, a 1/3potbet is too easy to call with pretty much any hand and then you can still lose the hand.
