for someone who has never watched the daytona 24 hrs before and usually watched the WEC/LMP series, how do these DPi cars compare to LMP1? what are the main strength's and weakness' of each?

Im an F1 guy, but as far as I understand the DPi cars are closer, if not equivalent, to the LMP2 cars in WEC.
