People (especially the five other Friends) really don’t give Monica enough credit for how much she hosts and feeds everyone. Even though she enjoys it, it’s a LOT of work and they definitely make it harder and rarely appreciate it.

Lol I think Chandler and Monica start being really likeable from this ep onwards. I wish they were consistently like this since they got married but I’m glad. I didn’t expect to laugh out loud at Monica’s “Let me see”. Why is that so funny lmao

Random but I love how you really get sarcastic about ross not seeing his son and how he's a bad father. It's the writers but it's called friends and is about them. No offence i dont wanna see children in it a lot.! Kids are down the list. The characters will see their children but not on screen😂 You don't even see Emma much just depends on when they can use the kids considering their at school and such

For a show that became known for its epic Thanksgiving episodes, I'd say this is the weakest Thanksgiving episode of the entire series. Though the end was nice, it wasn't enough to save the episode. "Friends" Thanksgiving episodes come with a higher expectation, and it didn't meet that expectation. On rewatch, this is one of those episodes I can skip without feeling like I've lost anything. As for the laugh track, you may have noticed it more because considering this is their last Thanksgiving, the episode is disappointing, so your brain may have become more attentive to the laugh track.

I read the comments and was really surprised that people actually love this episode. To me, it’s one of the worst episodes of the entire show. Better than recap episodes but that’s all I can say. I only find Ross and Chandler funny in this episode. Others just act so weird. I don’t find it funny at all.

It's been a while since I've seen this episode. It's always been one I like but idk, I think the beauty pageant scenes just seem really weird. It's just really creepy how accepted that has been in American culture for decades. And even though they point out how creepy it is and how the only reason they do it is for the money, it just seems really wrong for the characters to do that just for the potential of winning some money imo Otherwise, Ross/Joey/Rachel/Phoebe doing things knowing they would make them late and then just staying outside the apartment for 20 minutes after they're already 45 minutes late just doesn't really make sense The comedy was still as good as it normally is though, arguably better
