While I don't see it possible from a draft capital perspective or due to how many needs we need to fill at various positions......I would absolutely love to be in a position to draft Jared Verse. Verse>>>>>>>>>Robinson. Verse has actual production and still hasn't fully reached his potential. Robinson has limited production and a team has bet on the young man to reach "x" ceiling. Feels like Robinson is another Tryon, where the physical tools are there to possibly develop but you aren't positive he can get there. The Bucs seem to be cursed when it comes to drafting DE/Edge. Lee Roy Selmon is the only great DE the Bucs have ever drafted. We got 1-2 average to good years from a few guys like Clayborn, Upshaw, Marcus Jones, Chidi, and Nelson (decent backup). Most have been total bust like Tryon, Spence, Bowers, Adams (though think his heart issues might've played a part in it, and genuinely sad end to his life way too early), etc. So it would be incredible to be able to draft Verse, but I don't see a legit way they'll be able to. I don't think they will draft Robinson if he is available but could be wrong...and if they do I'll root hard for him. Just don't think he would be much of an improvement over Tryon, at least in this scheme. Sadly he could possibly be a good player in the Steeler's or Raven's D.

@@emilyshabangI kinda agree. Lot of needs in Tampa bay. We have the ability to trade up, but that doesn’t mean we should in rd 1. Maybe a possibility for tomorrow rd 2. I would wait and see what happens with what we can land at 26. Take the BPA that can help us right away and be the guy. Build off that.

I like Cooper DeJean but he is not a fit here unless we change to predominantly a zone coverage. His hips are too tight and doesn't have great burst/acceleration out of a break...his speed and insticts are good enough read and break on a ball in zone though.

I kinda would have to agree this is still a pass happy league and good corners don’t come available via FA. That was why Detroit traded for CD3. Nobody is available and they want insurance at CB.

Will Kool-Aid or Nate come in and be that #1 CB because if not then it’s automatically going to be seen as a bust? I mean do some people see Cooper DeJean as a CB idk I don’t. I see him as a NFL safety. That’s just my take. Maybe he can be the #1 CB idk.

I like him at LG. He’s not a bad pickup. The fact he can play G/T/C is impressive and he looks like he gets pretty physical after the snap I like that. If you’re gonna succeed in the NFL at OL gotta have some doggg in you.

Lot of people want Mitchell. I’m kinda shocked that we want a slot WR when Godwin plays mostly out of the slot. Idk just thought that it was kinda weird. Not against it. We have Otton also who plays TE I know, but he catches passes in that same general area. So not sure how a slot WR fits here exactly. Wouldn’t mind a 3rd round RB if Blake Corum is available. He’s gotta be better than White imo.

Chop only had 15 tackles all year compared to Micah Parsons 109 tackles his last year at penn state not enough Production for a first round pick trade up or go JPJ if he’s available

Mentioned CB, Edge, WR...so he will draft a center like Jackson-Powers if available. Trying to read or predict the direction of the Bucs has been a losing proposition.

JPJ would be great for TB who has been sorely missing an elite C on this line. Ryan Jensen going down right after losing Ali Marpet to retirement and Donovan Smith to FA and then Tom Brady to retirement. That was a complete disaster. Lot of turnover and fans deserve better and more from this team. I think fans are okay because we have been winning still and going to playoffs and we did win a SB, so all is good. However we want another SB run and they know we’re kinda in rebuild mode if we want to contend with the best and that requires finding a lot of talent and filling a lot of holes asap.

We took a huge dump after losing superstar like talent all across the board. Our SB team is slowly going through a rebuild phase. Which is good and fine imo. It’s just a lot of young talent and we need to find some ready to go talent now.

Who is Troy Benson? Do you mean Trey Benson? If so, please no. I'm a diehard Noles fan and even I don't want him. He dances behind the line way too often and misses holes way too often. So he has a ton of negative yard gains, but he does hit a home run at times. He has good speed but it takes him time to get up to full speed. These aren't traits that lead to successful NFL running backs, unless they play behind an OL full of All Pros and road graders. Put him behind the 90s Cowboy lines and maybe Benson could be good. However, our line can't run block at an elite or even very good level. I could see Toafili being a better NFL running back

If we draft Chop Robinson, I'll be upset. If we draft Chop Robinson while Latu/Verse is on the board, I'll be mad. If you draft Chop Robinson and Barton/JPJ are both still there...I'll be very upset. If we draft Chop Robinson while a combination of Latu/Verse/JPJ/Barton/McKinstry/BTJ are on the board...I'll be irrate.

i've never seen a more ESSENTIAL voice on Pro Football... than this woman... without her... this show would be nothing... if you think the gray haired dude is feminine enough to know the "ins and outs" of the NFL... then you love this girl with the dark hair... i mean... even though i played a little football back in the day... and have been watching the NFL since about 1966... she has provided me with a brand new insight into the game... the only way she could be better... would be if she was vaguely Asian, Indian, or Black... then she would be even better! but any NFL talk out of these two is just pure gold... lol... zzzz

Really think edge, IOL, CB are all the positions the Bucs are looking to draft 1st round. Only guys that would fit the bill imo is IOL: JPJ , Barton or wait until the 2nd or 3rd for the Zach Frazier out of Michigan. Edge: trade up for latu or pray chops the next micah parsons and you risk it on him. CB: here I don’t see them taking anyone but kool aid or cooper dejean in the first round. Don’t see a trade up either. If anything this would be a trade back pick
