Good to see the Sqaukes all sorted. The air vent louvres is a good solution for the ESC as well and a good way to keep the Magic Smoke encased in the ESC where it should be. Air flow to a ESC is like water to a Fish. Have you ever had an electronic reactions when using GOOP due to what ever solvents are in the GOOP. Been an interesting build. Keep at it now. ;0)

Thank Nick! Yea always best to keep the magic smoke contained where it belongs! No, have never had any issues using goop. It will attack some plastics and foams so that is a consideration to keep in mind.

I'm transitioning...slowly, from edf to fuel based setups and things like this are pretty clever to me since most of the escape cooling for me personally simply comes from having the esc heat sink being installed in to the ducting slightly lol Thanks for showing that

Really beautiful job all around. Glad to see the Phoenix motors are a drop in on the main gear. Funny enough i just did a nose gear motor replacement on mine. Hopefully this winter mine will see some updates.

Vent Louvers looks super good ! I would protect them with the little mash size to keep the bugs out lol....

If you use Scorpion ESCs, the telemetry works with Jeti and they also come with cooling fans. You can control the fans so they come on when the ESC reaches a set temperature.

The Air vents for the ESC's are a good Idea. I have to rebuild mine because of a failed Nosegear and the following Bellylanding. I need a Main Fuse and the Mindwing section. I think about to replace the crappy Gear with elektron ER50's. These are much more relieable i guess.

during the time when ramy rc was a good channel,he used electron.so i guess they will be good.

Will take some work but yes, the ER'50 is very strong and reliable.

Looking not bad😉. But I wonder about her small motors and how about the defekt ESC, what was wrong on him? And do you think the new motos for the gear will be better, I think ist a result about the poor material on the sides, is only Alusheet, not good made. Have helped a friend to bring his Bronco in the air, she has the same problem with the gear and we have changed them with items from JP.

Not sure yet. Just ordered a replacement and installed it. all is good. When I installed the new motors I cycled them constantly and no issues so yes I think they are a good, easy, affordable sollution.

ah,cost of stuff.my rc plane cost calculation now comes to £200. this may mean my only interaction with rc planes is watching your videos. by the way,it would be cool for a kc 46 as a next project.so you can refuel your own planes in the air.
