im interested in knowing about your rights situation... i know of a local business to me that spent a fortune on a star wars themed event and wanted to film it for local tv but Disney absolutely refused them rights even with an attempt of written consent... didnt seem like a big deal didnt add or take away from their story telling... it was just a simple star wars themed event... so i am curious did they give you consent?

My channel isn't monetized in any way, so the immediate copyright notice on the film or trailer just means Disney gets any Ad revenue that the video produces. It's kind of a win for them honestly, and for me, the video gets to stay up.

​@@escapedigitalcinema okay i figured that was the situation here... a little backstory on the why i asked and the situation i am referring to. the company a relative of mine was working for handled events for clients, my relative was a marketing major and handling this very wealthy client that was hosting an celebratory event. he wanted his event to be broadcasted... He also hired my relative's company to design him a star wars themed office which cost him 200,000 dollars. the event i am referring to was not for monetary gain but more so because he had a very successful operation within his own business and was celebrating in this way and excited for his new office design. When the company tried to reach out to Disney thats why they turned them down and wouldn't let them broadcast the event.
