Random Thoughts. Is Naga Traditional Wrestling same as with other International Traditional Wrestling Or belt wrestling?? Has the Naga Traditional Wrestling lost its uniqueness and originality. ?? What kind of Naga Traditional Wrestling is if one player can win even without felling down your opponent on the ground. The introduction of point system as we witness today was huge let down for the spectators. Or perhaps today's game can be called simply as "International Traditional Wrestling" and not as "Naga Traditional Wrestling". The traditional Naga Wrestling should not be diluted with so many rules and standard. For instance the VAR system has also been implemented. For now from international countries we hear about Naga wrestling that "It is very SIMILAR to our wrestling style" however few years down the line we will only hear "oh it's the SAME with out country styles and rules". Perhaps at the Village and Nagaland level we can sticks to our unique Naga Traditional Wrestling. A special camp or tournament can be organised with international rules and point to select the elite players for international events. Much appreciated to the NWA for promoting and taking wrestling to new heights however there should be a distinct usage of the nomenclature Naga Traditional Wrestling and Traditional wrestling in the coming days otherwise if one is not careful the unique Naga Traditional Wrestling would be known to any other as simply another traditional wrestling. Not sure if guys get my point but that's just my opinion. I could be wrong.

From the looks of it, individual rounds will be pushing contests if this rule is final. Any new rule should be first tried and tested elsewhere before official enforcement in a major tournament. If at all required, point system may better be preceded by a normal 2-minute round and only when that results in a draw, something to break the tie may commence. Otherwise, the wrestlers don't even seem to strategise whether to apply tactics or push each other out. Forget about viewers, even wrestlers don't seem to realise that they have won by points😂. Understandably, the toe to toe system also turns out to be boring very often, sometimes one bout even stretching to over half an hour. Hope NWA will come up with something better.

I strongly disagree. Venu Vadeo is still very young and hasn't yet reached his prime. He possesses tremendous potential, and I'm confident his time will come, but for now why not let the champ continue building his records and legacy.
