Oh I’m obsessed with it, especially for driving to the shops, it’s so comfy. I’ve collected mine over a number of years, and I used to be terrible at parting with any, but it was time to get rid of a few, and a lot have gone prior to this video, I just didn’t film it. Brand new ones that still had the tickets on, so silly, but they didn’t work for me anymore so I had to ta ta them 🫣❤️🌹❤️ at least someone will get the pleasure of wearing them ❤️🌹❤️

You have been so good with your clear out. I just spread to the wardrobes in the other bedrooms! No…actually coats and jackets in one spare bedroom, then summer/hot holiday stuff in another spare bedroom and in the main bedroom all the rest! Have to admit they are well packed in. My partner always asks if anything is leaving when new additions arrive! I am pretty good at making sure everything mixes and matches but oh the sheer joy of buying something just because you absolutely love it and don’t need it but want it! I always say clothes are my hobby….some people collect ornaments etc….me it is clothes! Let’s not start on shoes! Now Lynn…I bet you have lots of shoes and handbags….another video perhaps? Oh you are a lucky lady to have all those bedrooms to spread to. My absolute dream would be a dressing room, a VERY BIG one hahaha. Oh we would be very good friends you and me, shop shop shop lol. I’m always happy when I’m shopping, I’ve just ordered a trench coat, some red shoes, and a white blouse, I’ll show them on a haul. Now as for shoes, I’m don’t really buy too many anymore, these days it’s all about comfort, so I don’t mind paying a bit more as long as they’re comfy. And I can’t do high heels anymore, they kill me. As for handbags, I only have one or two, never owned a designer one, the most expensive one I’ve had was gifted by a brand that I did a video for, and I have one Radley, oh and I had one leather one made for me in Ibiza, I bet you have loads Liz. Great video Lynn, I have made a start on tops and pants, I chuckle every time you say pants as I call my nickers pants 😂😂 Don’t know if it is a Scottish thing or just my family, anyway I have made a start. My knicker drawer has already been reduced greatly when I discovered that they hadn’t shrunk, reality hit when I stood on the scales 😂 I have a lovely black coat that I have had for years and years, only really wore it at funerals. When I bought it it was double breasted but I have had to adjust it to a single breast coat because of the fluctuations on my bathroom scales 🤣 I keep the spare buttons though as you never know when I might need to sew them back on. Hahaha well I won’t be showing sorting my big pants out for sure, I have heard other people call knickers pants, but I always say Knicks, or knickers. I have knickers that I’ve not worn in years because they are little fancy things, noooooo not these days, the bigger the better lol. I used to have a funeral coat I got rid of it about 2 weeks ago, I got rid of loads that I didn’t film you know hahaha. Well if you can alter something to fit your a better woman than me, I can shorten things but I’d never have even thought to do that. Very resourceful Jean, and I think most women have to deal with fluctuating weight, it’s a curse lol 😂❤️🌹❤️

Hi Lynn That paint colour in your kitchen, where the hanging mugs are, is lovely. Hard to tell on my little screen if it’s a purple or a dark blue. I have never thought to be that bold with paint in my kitchen but I absolutely love it and you’ve got me thinking now.

Hi Karen, it’s a dark blue, I also have it in my lounge area, and I still love it, and it looks nice with the dark wood shelves too. Be brave and be bold Karen, it’s not the end of the world if you don’t care for it lol, you can paint over. I’d get a tester pot, paint a board, and stand it up for a couple of days, see if you like it, even some cardboard would do. Oooo let me know if you do it. The blue I have is a Graham and brown Matt called drama ❤️🌹❤️

You've done a great job. I think i mentioned in an earlier video that you inspired me to have a good clear out. I too had a load of mismatched hangers so bought a supply of the velvet ones. I agree that jumpers are a bit of a pain but I love that all my hangers are the same. I also got some of the little hooks to fit on them to keep dresses and jumpsuits tidy after seeing yours. You’ve given me the bug for decluttering and I’m gradually getting rid of a few bits.My selection of coats etc are really non existent….1 winter coat,2 gillets,and 1 showerproof jacket and 2 black jackets so if I got rid of those I’d have nothing left😆 I love all of yours and regarding your 2 jackets one of which had pearls personally I prefer the pearl one as it’s a bit more edgy and can be dressed up or down.I call it a rock chic look😆

❤ I always fasten my coats & jackets when on the hanger. It is so much better for them especially if a good jacket/coat. Also I use much better hangers for them as they are heavier & need more support (wider). Thin hangers for tops, velvet hangers for things that slide off & always hangers that are a good fit across the shoulder & not too small. I love those wide (long) hangers with the black hooks!Jackets take up less space too if fastened! Why several similar padded type coats in the same colour? You dont need them like that for a capsule wardrobe - thats toos & bottoms only. The last jacket with pearls & raggy bottom is very dated. Ditch it!

That’s a good tip Linda, I’ll fasten mine. I haven’t got several padded coats in the same colour, only one black winter one, and two gillets, one black and one cream, and don’t forget I only started my capsule wardrobe in January, most of my coats and jackets are from years of collecting, they aren’t new purchases.
