I feel like Nebraska has made some big plays this year, so I am unsure of this argument. Nebraska has 47 - 10+ yard plays, 11 - 20+, 6 - 30+, 3 - 40+ and 2 - 50+ yard plays this season. Illinois has 43 - 10+, 16 - 20+, 5 - 30+, 1 - 40+ and 0 - 50+ yard plays this season.

Illinois hasn’t played anyone worth talking about. At least we shut up Colorado and have a win against a Power 5 team. I’m not counting Kansas as a power 5 team. Kansas should have never been ranked….

Your phenom QB has played against low level talent. This will be different; let's see how he responds. I've seen a bunch of errant throws that worked because of soft or no defense. Those throws against better players will become turnovers.

Unless you've come into possession of some secret, forbidden knowledge that the rest of us have no access to, you have no reason whatsoever to think this would be a rout, other than your fandom. @@bryanviator6734 Maybe Illini won't match up - we'll see. The program has been so subpar for decades, that we will be happy with a bowl game - that means 6-6. You, on the other hand, are trying to convince yourself Nebraska can get back to the glory days of Tom Osborne. Ain't ever gonna happen. The days of having 100 kids on scholarship are gone. No more stacking rosters to weaken the competition. Too many programs are now decent enough to win almost any game, especially in the Big 10. Simply getting 4 and 5 star recruits doesn't mean much these days. If a kid doesn't like his playing time, off he goes into the portal. Even if he plays and plays well, the allure of more NIL $$$ at a better program will always be attractive to kids these days. Nebraska just isn't that program any more. As to watching football, even I could have hit those wide-open receivers with the accuracy he did. Let's see him throw those toss ups into the endzone as he did last week - Illini backs pick him off every time. He's young and doesn't know what he doesn't know - this isn't high school where you just toss it up and think it works - not against decent talent. Up the pressure on him, and those throws spell even more disaster. Well, you can at least look forward to wrestling soon.

@@jakobemathiasthe schedules of Illinois and Nebraska are very similarly ranked. We will see who is better tonight and no Colorado is not worse than last year. It’s just Nebraska is better than last year and so is Illinois. GL tonight!
