Don't ignore the negative comments for they the ones which will help you rectify your design. I feel that one wheel on each side is easy to turn. Having 4 wheels might need a differential gear.

Simply you've to increase the diameter of main wheel instead additional 2 wheels. It could be reduces your effort while climbing on steps. Any how different thinking..... Thumbs up 👍

Excellent invention. Try to put on some weight before climb. This shall ensure the wheels switch, which is the moot point. See if this can be optimized by the size of the wheels or the provision of a locking facility to avoid reverse fall, a small suspension which would enable it for use in healthcare (stretchers, etc). Great job guys. keep it up and extend.

Good one. Should improve on presentation skills like load test and braking system while moving on steps. Secondly, while coming down the steps, the cart should be handled by holding on the front side.

On giant wheel with the diameter of the 3 wheels would have definitely been better. Hell I'm willing to bet just one wheel would be better at climbing stairs than your 3 put together. Get a force gauge and graph out the spikes in effort you put in versus a regular one wheel design.

I did this project on 2k14. Along with it I attached high torque motor to lift heavy weight home appliances through steps. It's a good kind of project for the future advancement from this.
