@@wh0.tf_ hey "kid", I've been watching the NBA since 1990's. D-White deserves All-Star consideration. He's one of the best 2-way guards in the league. The other 4 in the East are Trae, Tyrese, Haliburton, and Lilliard. Those 4 are great offensive players, but they are poor on the defensive side of the ball. D-White impacts the game greater on both sides of the ball. Check his +/- when he is on the court. He's by far has the highest +/- of any guard in the league.

@@curto201 lol clearly another guy who just looks at traditional stats and not advanced stats or tracking stats. pick your catch all advanced stat: EPM, LEBRON, PER, WS, BPM, RAPTOR, NET, PER-36, etc d.white either leads the celtics or is in the top 3. pull up tracking stats like PNR efficiency (2nd in the league to haliburton), impact on winning, points per touch, defensive points per touch (1st in the league), +/-, points in the clutch and d.white is a league leader surounded by all-stars and mvps. and yes, leads his own team. or you could pick out historic achievements, no one since dwayne Wade has put up the defensive numbers white has been putting up. JT and JB will get voted in because most fans are casuals. anyone who knows ball and dives in to advanced analytics (like JJ Reddick) knows d.white deserves to get in over his own teammates or to push for having 3 celtics all-stars (this has been done multiple times before and the celtics have been far and away the best team in the league for 1/3 of the season). he's already playing like an all-star. he's just most likely not getting in because alot of fans arent smart enough. we'll see though if the coaches vote him in as a reserve or an injury replacement.

If they have 3 all stars it will be Tatum Porzingis and Brown Yes it may suck that ppl don’t care about advanced stats but it’s just reality. All star will always be for the casual fan and guys are only gonna ever get in off of either name popularity or if they have great regular box score stats ie: ppg assists rebounds blocks and steals

@@ClassicallyChristion i'd push for 4 all-stars imo. been done multiple times before; hawks, spurs, pistons, etc. but yes, highly unlikely. 3 is more likely. but i think d,white gets in over KP though KP is deserving as well. the issue with KP is games missed. funnily, KP is also pretty good in advanced/tracking stats. leads the league in points per postup, shots challenged in the paint percentage, etc. those 2 actually impact winning more on the celtics than the Js. if the celtics win the chip this season, it'll be because of these 2. and tbh i'd rather not risk KP in a meaningless all-star game. so i guess, end of the day, might be good if the celtics doesnt get a single all-star and just rests instead.
