I think the whole "I've driven on this road before. Been driven it forever" is more about himself and what his life has been rather than making reference to the time loop. Never handling his personal issues the right way and people close to him getting hurt by it, left to clean up after him. The whole monologue while Alan driving towards Bright Falls is so beautiful and the final stretch of the game it's his redemption.

Yeah, of the things she skipped over - the Tim stuff was by *far* the most important. Big parts of the story were missed out on as a result. Is what it is, though.
