problem is in the begining Galm was trying to screw over people, he didnt deceive anyone, he is too honest for these games it seems like and from the beginning he was being greedy and the others seen it and so did chilled and chilled figured out he could use it to his advantage expecially with that swindle Galm did in the beginning, screwed over trades for him and ze and made the others more suspicious of dealing with him, had Galm played it keeping his hand close to his chest instead of throwing it onto the table, the game would have been interesting and chilled may have not won, P.S you never give someone a monopoly until you get one

Just a few comments about the video.... 1) Chilled is the smartest of The Derp Crew by far 2) Smarty is the most moronic by far... 3) Smarty being the biggest idiot is ironic 4) Everyone should be able to figure out there are 10 squares on each side after a couple turns... Not just chilled xD 5) The most common theoretical dice roll is 7, realistic is between 6-9 (use that to your advantage, that's how you win) 6) Big monopolies are not always good. Chilled won because putting hotels on Orange is cheap.... 7) If Smarty had traded Galm for the blue he most likely would've won 8) You're actually supposed to start with small monopolies and then build up large ones (like Chilled did) 9) Corners are the best death traps. Like Blue/Purple, Orange/Red, Red/Green, it's better to give up a high monopoly to gain control of a corner, since if they double land on you they will likely bankrupt. 10) Dark Blue is considered "Wild Card" properties and because of the two standard six-sided die, it is rarely landed upon. these should only be fought for by high risk players 11) When betting with substantially more money than everyone else competing, bet for how much money the second richest player has, save that $1 I also find it funny that Chilled won after so many breaks for everyone :D Master manipulator strikes again! xD

Chilled is quite intelligent. But, Galm and Ze are in no way a pushover. I'm sure they two are very well aware of the theoretic of how to play a bloody children's board game. Chilled got very lucky near the end, but he had it in the bag simply due to his balanced play and luck all throughout the game. In all honesty though, the three could have won with ease if the dice were on their side. Regarding Smarty though...well...*shivers*

Mahin Khan I actually didn't comment on Galm or Ze's intelligence because they are about average intelligence. Smarty, however, is borderline mentally handicapped (In my opinion), so I agree with you there. However, most of your post was ignorant, I'm afraid. Explanation below: 1) "Children's board game" - Monopoly was not designed for children, and actually hosts cash competitions! 2) "well aware of the theoretic..." - If you watched any of their videos you would know that they are NOT aware of the 'theoretics'. They don't even know that each side has 10 squares, which a child actually should know. Continuing on this, they did not pursue the corner properties and they all fought for the dark blues when it is a gamblers choice and should rarely be bought. CONTINUING FURTHER.. They tried capitalizing on large properties instead of small ones. There is actually much more to bring up, such as the 'luck' involved with ChilledChaos going to jail actually being statistical probability due to ending up on the "Jail" square in the first place, but I'll leave all that be. My post was simply to let him know if he plays again he can increase his odds significantly even if he was playing against more intelligent players than himself. Cheerio!

Ah, I suppose you're right on most of your points. I suppose I'll have to revoke some of my views. However, there is ONE thing I would like to dispute in your response to my comment: As I'm sure you know, the dark blue squares. despite being very costly to build on, have infamously rich returns when players land on them. In fact, their return (in money) is the highest rate on the board (proportionally to money spent on houses/hotels). Also, the 'Advance to Boardwalk' Chance Card likely spurred their obsession with the dark blues further. I agree that they were all getting a little obsessive about those squares, whilst they should have rather been more concerned with the orange squares, but they DID have some reason to be afraid (partially due to their personal experience with Boardwalk and Park Place). That's why when playing monopoly I make sure to deal out properties randomly, it removes a lot of the luck and makes it more about smooth talking, though there is still the luck of the roll, but its more even, and nobody gets fucked straight away like Ze and Smartie

With the end of this series, I have mixed feelings. I feel satisfied with a great game and hilarious amusement. But I can't stop thinking it might be the last one. Chilled winning 4times in a row, while the others are doing so poor. I think they won't play anymore. I really hope they do, because this is my favourite video series in a long time. I just wish the three of them would read up on basic monopoly strategy. Not go in as children and wing it. Know the massive value of a monopoly, the value of the first monopoly. If you give someone a monopoly, better make sure his money is crippled (when everything but his monopoly is morgaged, he can only build like 1 house) or make sure you get your own monopoly. Try trading so each player has 2 pieces, but the third is harder to get. Learn the values of the different color groups. Orange is the best. Low invest cost, medium reward, but high chance of landing on it because there are so many ways to go to jail. Know that all properties are worth more than their basic value. And try to trade more willingly with eachother. You are letting chilled win because he gets faster to his goals. You don't trade and he does, he wins. I'm thinking of sending a small readup to everyone of the Derp Crew. :p Super entertainment, but if there is a future, the others should improve.

The amount of fuckitude Chilled is able to do when he plays with the derp crew. And then you get Hutch, Gassy and Seananners involved. All of sudden, Chilled is the new Ze. I say Ze and not Smarty because Ze has an idea of what he's doing and knows how to fuck people over. Smarty however takes a lot of advice from the others and doesn't put much of his own thought into it. He's the puppet and anyone can be his puppet master. Now, I do see hope for Smarty, but that's another story. Back to Chilled. Chilled knows how to fuck people over, he has a business major and is playing Monopoly. Yeah... Anyways, let's now compare him to Hutch, Gassy, and Seananners. They aren't dunces. Seananners is a MASTER at manipulation. Hutch is a good fucking strategist, as seen by his chess games with Chilled. And Gassy is just plain stubborn. Put it together with Chilled and he can't really do nothing. Gassy wouldn't trade with him, Seananners wouldn't let himself be manipulated, and Hutch wouldn't end up in a position where he had to rely of Chilled. If Chilled were to beat them, it would require much luck of the dice. However, it's been quite a few months since Chilled last took them on in Monopoly. Odds are, Chilled's skills have developed and he has quite a better chance against them. But that still doesn't mean their personalities have changed. Seanners is still manipulative, Hutch is still a strategist, Gassy is still stubborn, and they're all not Smarty. So, I encourage you, Chilled Chaos, to go a round or three with the big boys, see what you've learned.

As soon as Chilled acquired the oranges, I favored him to win. Statistically, the oranges are the strongest properties in the game because you have the highest chance to land on them out of any property during a trip around the board. This means that oranges provide the best profit potential long-term.

Rewatching this, I think a more fair and a better deal would've been for Chilled to give the red to Smarty for $200 and the light blues, and then get the light blue from Ze for $360 (enough for him to remortgage and to build a house). There's no way they could argue that wasn't a fair deal, as he'd give them both a Monopoly with a fighting chance, showing he doesn't want to be the sole monopoly holder like GaLm said, and giving himself the light blue Monopoly with a decent amount built up.

Nonono. I think Chilled was referring to the fact that he and Smarty were both Italians. It was, true, a somewhat deep and random statement, but it's still understandable from my point of view. Remember, Chilled is a manipulative Monopoly player, having learnt a lot from Seananners in the past. He'll say anything to have someone like Smarty become his pawn, whether it be by having Smarty relate to him or by making him dependent on Chilled's properties and goodwill.

We've always played it where, if you're in jail, you can't collect on your properties. It makes the game a lot more fair so people don't just scum around in jail. Galm could have won if that rule was in effect.

Well, from the monopoly rules straight from the board game itself when I was a kid, it has always been the lots and cash go to the person who bankrupted the victim. However, we also played with the rule that when the board f*cked someone, then their shit went to the board, not an auction. We never we fans of auctions. But I like them here. It fits.

aljo It was always in the rules; if the board/bank Bankrupts a player, ALL of the player's properties are auctioned. I like this rule because it keeps said properties in the game.

I know that Galm and Chilled are attributing all the games to luck and dice rolls, but Chilled has a consistent strategy that works. Statistically the side of the board Chilled develops has the highest chance of people landing on an owned property, since the boardwalk column has a number of ways of getting around it. He also is the best at manipulating the others especially early on in the game causing a snowball later.
