FINALE! Fixed a fence and cleaned a yard

G'day friends,
With the wet weather back in town, it's been slow going for us this last few weeks, here on the east coast of Australia.
I've finally been able to get back to the most recent job posted here, and I am happy with the results! My client got a new fence and a yard clean up, and it's now much safer for her and her dog!
This video is the finale to this series!

Hi Sean! Yeah, we bought a similar walk-behind trimmer (but a little heavier duty) when our So. Cal. mini-ranch was new . . . but we gave it to some friends because our property is nearly half slopes and we needed a ride-on mower to tackle the weeds. Wonderful results As Usual! The owner's pup will be so thrilled with the "new" yard! 🐕💞

Excellent job Sean! Great job with the fence! The Cub Cadet heavy duty trimmer is excellent for those tough lawns like this; I have used two different models similar to yours and they make light work of heavy grass and weeds.

Your "Whopper Whipper" is a great addition to your equipment!! Although it looks a bit hard to push, it sure made short work of that area of extra tall grass. You really did a wonderful job for this lady, and fixing that fence was above and beyond. It is obvious that she still can't maintain the yard on her own. G'day Sean, great work to tame that garden, what a massive effort. Also, I really want to convince my Dad to buy one of those walk behind whipper snippers, which I still think it's so beast that I'm finding it hard to believe one actually exists despite seeing it here. (I mow the lawn at my parents place to help out, I've politely, over time, convinced my Dad that Utility Mower is a great long term investment and he said he'd buy one when he can. For a residential block it isn't really necessary but I think the plan is for my folks to move to a property with more land)

I love that you take an extra few seconds to actually pick up the rubbish you find. Other lawn care guys (specifically the American guys) - now before anyone comes for me, I'm not saying all of them are the same - but the few I have seen who transform yard over there, just leave the rubbish behind and mulch it up in the lawn mower or whipper snipper and don't take the time to pick it up, so it still looks trashy. Good on you Sean (I hope I have the right spelling 😂). It's amazing to see you have so much pride in what you do ❤️

I’ve seen a few different videos of lawn care from the U.S. and they all have done great work, hard work and do clean up a lot. BRAVO! Fitting music at the end. Nice to see it mowed again for another month's peace of mind. The fence went from hazardous to sturdy and looks very nice. As are the bushes that were over taking the side of the housr. As a senior home owner, the fear of falling or not being able to stay in your own home must have been reduced greatly. What a finale! The yard looks great! I know you will really enjoy the walk-behind grass trimmer. They are very pupolar here for garden and lawn work. Glad you are on top of figuring out solutions with extra rain. Heard a comment of 89 inches so far this year, with more coming. So, that may vary by area, but still quite a bit of rain no matter what. (Someone recently reported 8 inches in our area, total, for the rain year.) Enjoying that you found a way to repair a disastrous fence. Also, now know that a metal fence post may not be eaten by termites or rot but still prone to rust. Nice to see your work holding on the property and that "a tune up" will make it chipper. You definitely earned your Victory music. It was fun to have such pleasure out of a simple low mow and bagging at the end. What a marker of a tremendous change.

Make a list of people who will maintain the lawns for a nominal price for the elderly and disabled. That way the initial cleanups will be performed by yourself and the after cuts done by folks who are in lawn care. It's a win win for all. Cheers

We love our little whipper snipper...we call it a small brush hog. We use it at the lake and the farm to cut under the electric fence when it grows to tall for it. We have had it 10 yes now and 3 parts of our family use it and abuse it lol its fabulous! Glad u finally got one it will make a lot of ur work so much easier for ur back not to mention time. I have one of those weed eaters. I’ve had mine about 5 years. I find that it is easier to mow grass and trim around my fruit trees and buildings.easier on my arms instead of using the hand held models.I think you’ll fall in love with yours.
