I'm currently doing the tier 5 races. And we'll . This game is truly awesome. One thing I was wondering while playing, how did you made these realtime shadows that smooth on Android?! As far as I know shadows on Android are choppy and pixelated. Also. The game for me was really enjoyable after I reached tier 3. Befor I had to grind really hard to get money. After that it was easier. I also really like how you tried to create relations between cars and racer names and give them some background and character :)

Shadows were a bit of a weird workaround. In order to get nice, blurred shadows, I went into the actual Unity Editor files and changed a couple lines in AutoLight.cginc. I modified shadow sampling so that instead of directly using the shadowmap texture, it would perform a Gaussian blur on it. I sampled the exact position required as well as several points around that position and averaged them. If you look closely, you can see that the blur isn't perfectly smooth as a result and has several transition "levels," but it works well enough that the player won't notice unless they're searching for it. This is probably not the best explanation - if you want something more detailed feel free to contact me through my support email. Thanks for your feedback on the progression of the game. It's very difficult to balance how much you earn since I don't have a team of playtesters, so information like this is very useful. I'm glad that you enjoy the game! It's really unforgiving, I got lucky once when I lost the lead and didn't see him again from the city highway until the end of the desert when he got in a couple bad crashes back to back. Unlucky me got in a crash in the last 300 metres. It sucks that this game doesn't have a good chase mechanic so if you lose your lead it sucks

Bro use ur skill btw I had alot of crashes but I still keep up cuz I have my own tune set up with the cars I use I prefer you should use Toyota Supra Mk4 Ford Mustang Nissan Gtr-R34 These cars have fast acceleration Although I tune my cars and adjusted my nitro release rate and oversteer Also I tune my gear shift throw into short instead of tall so I can have faster acceleration to keep up with the street king and also I guess you didn't tune your car in your own way that's why he keep pulling away although you will have a chance at mountain part there's alot of corners there and I saw his AI struggling with corners even inside the tunnel I choose a shorter throw shift to have fast acceleration even if I lose some few top speed but it can keep up with him if you have a car with fast acceleration and right tune up. That's what I did to my cars 1st I maximize their upgrade and then I'll tune them up adjusting some of the steering,nitro release rate and gear ratio I prefer you should use a mk4 supra that thing is fast when you tune it up on your own way even the r34 gt-r

Recomendation for new players wich phones runs the game at 15fps like mine: Set steering bias to maximun oversteer. You wont need to drift most of the time

I hate this race. There is absolutely nothing in terms of catchup. I can't gather any evidence but I don't believe the cars can even get in accidents when out of render. 0 time extra given for pit stops. It's wayy to brutal and unforgiving when random stuff like trains, or cars can come in and punish you with 0 ways to recover or avoid with skill. Also how is Raymond so damn fast and effective with his pit maneuvers. I can't get the damn guy to oversteer when ramming him but if he is on my tail I lose the race immediately

This was recorded before difficulty options were added. During that time, every race was always on King difficulty, so the finale has not gotten more difficult.

@@unknownspecies2839 i know this three months ago but i'm still gonna comment anyway :). Actually it is POSSIBLE to beat the final race in king mode. But the cops and traffic car are so freaking annoying. So the thing you might have to do is to keep raymond at your back as long as possible, cops might have a chance to take advantage of him. I had beaten this in king mode using a Nissan Skyline. And also there's actually some players are using actual raymond's car in online
