Megumin had only one major arc, but she gave Kazuma enough hints that he would want a romance with her. Darkness had two major arcs and she missed ALL the chances that she had.

@@danielkiran8174 As Kazuma said it himself (season 2 episode 5 first encounter with Vanir) he is into Darkness body but can not befriend to her personality. He confirmed that in this episode by answering Lord Dustiness offer to take Lalatina felt like being penalized. So if there shall ever be a man in Darkness future, it will not be Kazuma, however she self deceipts her about Kazumas personality.

Vanir is definitely a friend to Kazuma. Man might have set it up so a deal is made, but he also 100% secured that Kazuma actually got the money too. Now Kazuma is richer than most nobles in that world.

Vanir was the final winner, suitable for a demon that could see the future. He got the credit for saving his fellow demon, got all of Kazuma's IP, did Kazuma a favor, and got to savor all of his favorite negative emotions in the meantime (he particularly enjoys shame/embarrassment, and all the negativity connected with losing/being a loser). He did help Kazuma out but he did it primarily for himself.

@user-lj6rc7sm5n Oh, of course, but he certainly has grown attached to the group (besides Aqua) in his own inhuman way. If only for savoring their negative emotions during such situations perhaps, but it still works out. He could have easily made Kazuma end up dirt poor again and had a buffet of emotion to feast off of, but he didn't.

Iris said that the "Body Swap Sacred Treasure" was given to her by her brother before he left for a skirmish against the demon king's army. And it is revealed in this episode that Aldarp was the one giving that sacred treasure in the first place. So he owned that item long ago. Now let's remember back after Kazuma's trial at season 2. There was a marriage interview between Darkness and Aldarp's son. The marriage interview failed as he decided not to marry her in the end. And then in this season 3 we saw Aldarp telling other nobles that the only one worthy of marrying Darkness is the crown prince. We know now that the one giving that body swap item to the royal family was Aldarp. But why would Aldarp now wants to marry Darkness? Coincidence? I think not~ Aldarp planned to swap body with his own son and then killed him right after to make the body swap permanent, but his son decided not to marry Darkness. Plan failed. Aldarp then planned to swap body with the crown prince by giving him the sacred treasure as royal tribute, proceeded to spread convincing rumors about the "only one worthy of marrying Lalatina is the crown prince" to make other nobles support that idea, but the sacred treasure got stolen by Kazuma and Chris and even Eris turned off its ability to become unusable anymore. Plan failed again. Then came his last resort of.... "Fine, I'll marry her myself" plan, only to get failed again in the end thanks Kazuma and the gang. The man is such a Lalatina simp. Can't blame him though~

Its hilarious cus majority of the town folks itself know not to, and are so used to her explosion routine around that they treat the tremors from teh explosion and the hot air wave it generates as a town specialty, its where in a spin off, some dudes outside teh city try to threaten some townsfolk making some fireballs explode in the air and they are so unfazed and tell them "if it aint to teh level of an Explosion, its just fancy fireworks"

In this episode and earlier ones they hint at Alderp's bigger plots. In this they say the body switching artifact Iris had been given by Alderp to Iris's brother. In an earlier episode they mention the appropriate person to marry Darkness is that prince. Seems plan A was to body switch with that prince and murder him and then marry Darkness

yep that was his actual plan. they cut out some of his stuff during this season, but in the light novel we basicly learn that he would do anything to get darkness.

The original plan is to have darkness marry his adopted son, then he use the item to switch body and kill the son. However the son refused so he target the prince instead

I like how Megumin did her own thing. Even if Kazuma hadnt done anything she would have come to get Darkness. But because of that Megumin was so proud of Kazuma seeing him actually do something. I bet she was thinking: Thats my man :)

Vanir would be Lawful evil, he is definitely evil but he strictly follows a code of ethics, he will always honour his word and contracts(his and other peoples contracts, hence why he made aldarp say the contract was fulfilled), and he will not directly attack humans (goddesses aren’t humans).

maxwell while being a duke of hell and thus very powerful has sadly the problem of constantly loosing his memory. so aldarp exploited that and made him do lots of things without ever paying the price as normally you would need to pay the price for a deed were it any other devil

Explosions can ironically be more deadly in the air because its not the fireball that does the damage; its the shockwave. If its in the air, the shockwave can spread over a much wider area.

It depends on. While the affected area is bigger, the damage is distributed more. So as we saw, windows got smashed, but buildings and people were mostly unharmed. Wtih the compressed fireball the church and the buildings around for sure would have been destroyed, leaving numerous people dead.

New ideas are still kazuma's... Problem is Kazuma already used up all the knowledge of items he could muster... All the ideas he had already thought of (it was outright stated in the anime) he was hiding for future needs so since vanir told kazuma at the beginning of this arc, Kazuma started working like crazy into making those ideas into prototypes to sell to vanir... That was why he was shut in in the mansion working instead of going to force darkness out... He was pulling out all the stops for her from the very beginning... So right now he is fresh out of ideas... Still if he thinks of new stuff he just had not thought of yet from modern world and figures out how to make it... The money for those is still his...

The difference is vanir knows how to keep up his wins while he does help whereas kazuma only knows how to savrifice himself to do it...

9/10 season for me. Started off slow and putting in place the plot for the season but it just kept getting better and better. I really like Vanir now. When you can make a character who is evil but not evil for no reason thats some good writing. This got a lil dark in the end with the Dust/Noble and torturing Alderp so that was pretty surprising. Obviously I like all the girls more now than before the season but Darkness really showed her other side which was fantastic. Megumin shows how much this party means to her. Aqua showed some usefulness. And Kaz showing why he continues to be one of the best MCs and got some cool moments to show he is capable in fights. Cant wait for season 4!!!!!!!!

I LOVE VANIR, he is my favourite character. Also in Konosuba... Demons aren't necessarily Evil, they just feed of specific emotions, for Vanir it's negative emotions like Embarrassment and anger and shit, but for Maxwell it's despair. They just try their best to feed of these... It's kinda like can you call someone evil that is just surviving in their own way
