I can get behind a show that examens the flaws of the jedi order, or a show about morally grey individuals fighting for the greater good who are painfully aware of the cost to their own souls (Andor). but I cannot get behind a show that holds up unrepentant killers as heroes. I enjoyed your balanced review of this series, yes there was good and bad. Ultimately it does not hit for me because I do not like the message. The twins do terrible things without remorse: kill Indara and Torbin, force choke Sol to death. Not only do they have no remorse but neither twin is interested in the whole story of what happened on Brendok: that the witch coven shared responsibility for the tragedy with Sol and Torbin. Indara and Kelnacca were actually innocent. Indara was encouraging restraint and was prepared to leave the planet and the witches alone with the blessing of the Jedi council. When Sol and torbin went off half cocked to the witches to grab the twins, Indara and Kelnacca were there to remove the rogue Jedi. But before they can do this, Mother Aniseya turns into a smoke monster and starts dissolving Mae, Sol stabs her in an impulsive fear based act of self defense, and Korril possesses Kelnacca causing him to try to kill torbin. So Mae is never sorry for cold bloodedly killing Indara and Torbin, Osha shows no remorse for force choking Sol to death without asking for an explanation. Then allows quimir to mind wipe Mae leaving her vulnerable to the Jedi (and the twins are supposed to love each other?). At least the jedi realized their mistake and felt remorse. As for Oshamir, so Osha is falling for someone who murdered Yord and Jecki, her friends? Talk about toxic.

I freaking love the bear and I might be in the minority but I thought this season was the worst of the 3 so far. So little was accomplished throughout the entire season. Carm facing his trauma in the form of his old boss and Sugar dealing with her trauma with their Mom is literally the only story arcs I feel like were met. Sydney still being on the fence by the end of the season was insufferable, have her make a decision one way or the other my god.
