This was my personal winner, but I won’t be disappointed it didn’t win because a rock song coming in third place is REALLY good for being Sweden. I think this shows that if anything, Sweden DO want some more rock in Mello. \T/

Rock and all sorts of metal is VERY popular in Sweden, especially melodic metal. We have many many popular bands from Sweden besides Smash into pieces. I read statistics that say that Sweden have 22 metal bands per 100 000 people, only beaten in the world by FInland. But our metal scene and MelFest have never really crossed paths.

Having Finland at nr 1, Iceland at nr 2 and Sweden at nr 3. One of my favorite rock/metal band from Sweden would be Avatar.

Look at what happened with Lord of the Lost in Germany, the people's voting entirely subverted the international jury's vote, which had almost unanimously chosen another candidate. In Sweden the favourite was still Loreen even in the popular voting. Maybe next time! 🤞🤘🤘

I've noticed in this final performance, the filming itself isn't so erratic and choppy as it was in the heat, which is kind of a shame, the camera work in the heat made it extra hyped

Sweden really went high with this masterpiece. My personal winners.
