Ramza definitely one of my top favorite final fantasy main character stook to his moral always did what was right and never asked nothing in return. Even thought he was labeled a heretic and was forgotten by history he prevent the world from getting destroyed by getting rid of the lucavi. Delita also made the world better by getting rid of the corrupted noble system in ivalice even thought he became was he hated most to accomplish that. I understand he was driven by revenge for the death of his sister tetra but I dont think she would have love the person he became if she was still alive to see it. I really wish he returned by Ramza side when he ask him to join him again at the zeltenia church because you can tell Delita is unhappy in the secret ending, questioning whether Ramza got what he wanted at the end of his journey.

Final Fantasy Tactics is probably my favorite Final Fantasy game of all time. I understand it may not be the best, but in terms of strategy it was hands down leagues above anything else in the series. Final Fantasy up until that point has always been associated with a 'brute force' play style. Heal and Attack were really the core of your options in these games and not much else. If you grinded hard enough your time attacking and healing would be reduced significantly. Tactics had elevation, a 'turn based' system that could be manipulated and a more thought out strategy akin to Ogre's (which was far less forgiving). Every decision mattered in that game. From the Jobs you chose, from the skills you learned and paired, the equipment worn, the tile your characters stood on, the direction they faced, the magic you cast and on which turn, your unit's positioning on the field and even in the worst case an unceremonious death for the character you named, trained and battled with. The game had a fantastic job system which to this day is my favourite of all time and one of the best stories in the series. Ramza stands apart from his spiky hair relatives as a character. He's a tragic figure and I think I relate to that more easily rather than the newer Final Fantasy games.

The thing about tactics is that the whole world is so nurtured by coherence and texture through conflict and dialogue, that characters, represented exclusively by a bunch of pixels, are able to gain an astounding depth. Delita was a gambling partner with Ramza but after the accident of Delita's Sibling Sister's Death. It was explained that Ramza was the Hertic and the Fault of Delita's Sibling Sister's Death. So Ramza went to the Church to gain a Pardon or Parley. But was disputed to be prosecuted by Delita and his Bribes to the church. Meaning the Holy Grail War started because Delita was a German Dirty Police Officer. An Ramza became a Chinese Dumpling. Meaning Delita had a love affair using Ramza's Ex Wife Altima the Bloody Angel. Thus started the Prosecution attempt to assassinate Ramza who had no father to protect his child's name. Making Ramza easy Prey for Pimps. Ramza's real father died in the Diablos War of Demons and Ramza's Father's Sibling Brother adopted Ramza as his halfling to protect Ramza. Without Barbaneth, Ramza was considered an incompetent prey. In the End Ramza remained the one Defeated Delita whom Delita became another Lancerlot going around prosecuting Arthur. Delita is rumored to be Dushman's Child. Whom Dushman had the same life of Ramza attempted with Hogni. Which Hogni used Dushman's Ex Wife. Which expresses that Delita failed to understand his own Father Dushman's World and was sentenced to curse Ramza in becoming cursed gold.

Argath doesn't get slain by delita, whoever kill him kill him. the story doesn't show it. Why do you feel the need to invent things?XD just follow the story. Also Delita says "you'll be next" in a fit of rage ,because his sister just died, he didn't mean it. In fact, Later on when they meet again , not even once Delita consider to harm Ramza. At most he tell him, if you get in the way i will kill you too. And its totally understandable since what happened is also Ramza's fault, and Ramza know, that's why he feel guilty and "i don't want to see another Tietra." His words when you need to save ovelia at zirekile falls. Delita become a schemer out of hatred and need, he look for vengeance and "justice" in his mind, killing every person responsible for the war that killed his sister. Many doesn't get How cool a character Delita is, and that's so sad to me, since i see him as the MOST coherent character in the whole FF series. You did a good job with everything else :D But another things in Defense of Delita, he did exactly what you said, but he had no other mean to do it. that was his only way, as he couldn't trust no body. Ramza had help from various people during his journey+ even if its not shown, he had enough money to hire mercenaries (the ones you start with) and his "beoulve" name, also got the help of orlandu just because he was a beoulve. Delita effort to do what he did, was 10 times harder than Ramza, And as cool as the character is. After he was able to get his vengeance and become kind, he was left alone with his pain and solitude, questioning if what he did was even worth it. I really wish many more people would understand how deep is the profile of Delita. He is "human" and act like a human would and could, while Ramza is the HERO the fantasy being that always do right and defeat all foes honestly, classic hero you can find almost anywhere.
