Finalfix - What If

Hi guys! As you may or may not know; I'm uploading the stuff I've released in the past few months to my youtube channel. This dreamy drum and bass track is called "What If". This tune was another milestone to me because it was the second tune of mine that Noisia played on their radio show and it surprised me that they did. I expected them to pick my hardest stuff but apparently they've taken a liking to my melodic side. This track was released on Rustout Records on their Deepmission III album along with some tunes from other skilled producers, so check them out!

Thanks! I'm currently working on more darker and heavier tracks but I'll definitely make some melodic stuff in the future as well! Have you heard my track "Flashback"? You might like that one :)

Another dope masterpiece that goes directly into my playlist! ;) I completely agree with the comment from Cesnik by the way, the utter lack of intriguing melodies in present DnB is what makes it stale and sound basically the same almost every time around in modern DnB tracks. The melodies carry thought-provoking, emotion-evoking meaning and story without the need to use words/vocals. Modern DnB oftentimes just feels so empty. With my 24 years of age, I am not even that old, so it is not really about nostalgia. I think a lot of arguments could be made why older DnB tracks tend to be noticeably better than present titles. However, reasonable and rational arguments can be formulated yada yada, but the enjoyment one obtains from a certain kind of music will stay subjective to them. Peace. PS: Do you know about Ayron? He's an awesome indie, dark dnb producer. Great stuff on his channel if you ever wanna check him out.
