The last look DID bring me to tears. The embroidery, the skirt, the halo like head piece, I just lost it, it was so true to our culture. I also am very tomboyish so the straps and the zippers and just the EDGINESS yet femininity in her collection already had me in awe. It's just the most amazing thing I've ever seen.

Gradually Shantall was making a mark on me as I progressed in watching the show and rooted for her. The fact that in the last episodes no one was helping her shows that she is TRULY a competitor they fear and know can survive without help. When she was saved by Christian I was like "she's gonna be intensified." She has this very strong soul in her that is focused and direct. I think that made her win. It is still so crazy for me that she was just saved in elimination and Christian telling her to "make it worth it" on what he did and it is!!! To me, Coral was the one who evolved so much but Shantal has her idea very much controlled and tapped all the necessary requirements of the competition.

In my opinion it was either shantal or coral. Both of their collections were absolutely stunning. Bottom line is shantal had the whole package. Either way the 4 of them served some stunning looks. all of them are exceptional talented woman. Can’t wait to see where they all go from here.

But it's also ridiculous to have them interviewed like this with the intention of, quite obviously, to add even more drama to the show. I know that by its nature shows like this are actually not interesting at all to watch, to people who are not creatives. Without the drama, it's so dry. But, come on... Can you at least give them time to process their 'defeat' first? This kind of thing is akin to interviewing the relatives of a celebrity at the time of the celebrity's death. It's at the very least distasteful if not outright outrageous.

Coral’s finale looks were better than the season’s looks. She always chose colours that didn’t really do it, and there was sometimes an element of mundane. As an overall winner - it was Shantall.

Christina is a bad looser, showing her true colors through her weak sheer dresses... she tried to eliminate Shantall when her design lost the team challenge and had immunity, but Shantall was destined to win, and Christian knew that Shantall was the best designer, even before the judges noticed.

Let's remember that Shantall was out because of Chrisina's crappy design. They were partners and Christina had immunity. Even the judges seem to have forgotten about that. If she already had gowns in Vogue magazine then maybe she should not have been there to begin with. I liked Coral’s designs and she seemed to be a genuinely she person but “No” she did not deserve to win. You have to take in consideration what Project Runway(PR) is all about. It is about promoting fashion forward designers that have the potential to grow and be impactful in the fashion industry. Every contestant on the show has the potential to learn and grow as designers unfortunately not all of them have the talent nor the skills to succeed in the fashion industry. Now it makes perfect sense to me why Coral never seemed to progress in the challenges. It was her unwillingness to change. What she did, macramé, she did very well, but she didn’t progress as a designer.

I agree. Imo they all had something that could be marketable(idk about Kristina though no hate. Her outfits may work for someone who likes stand out fashion though). Shantall was the most marketable simce her designs could be for business or people who like to dress casually, Coral's were amazing and could be used in runway events or other occasions, and Chastity's could be great for stars and singers. Shantall and Coral were my top 2 but I was routing for Coral. Still happy for shantall though!

Honestly, she deserved that save and Christina should’ve gone home, however, Christina understood the assignment. I truly believe Christina tried to sabotage their collaboration project with her messy design knowing full well that she was immuned from being eliminated and Shantall was huge competition. It was a sneaky yet good strategy but it all goes to say, “you never win when you play dirty.” Christina was my least favorite. I rated Shantall first, Chasity, Coral then Christina.

I can never imagine watching PR without Christian. There’s always something to learn from his work room visit, it’s literally my favorite part of the show. The designers should give Christian more credit. Shantall’s main model taking off her coat just to show enough skin to break the boxiness, Coral opening the show with menswear and putting a breather with the white piece, Chasity showing that she’s not just about embellishments (which Nina also pointed out during judging), Kristina pulling back on the potential nipple disaster. I can keep going on. You can always see the models in the back paying attention, nodding and smiling whenever Christian gives advice.

Exactly! You also see how some of the designers lost their way when they went home to design their collections. Christian's feedback helped to improve everyone's trajectory. Also, in the after show of the Model Muse episode with Coco Rocha, Christian picks the editorial looks for each designer look and his choice was better every time.

I completely agree...I re-watched the season before the finale & every bit of his advise was sound...he knows of what he speaks. Those that listened made it to the final & I believe had they not been so stuck on not heeding his advise, the outcome might have been different...Shantel reworked her entire show, proving she cam take advice and direction. I wasn’t much of a Kristina fan, but her poppies were fabulous. Chasity’s work is super glamorous incredible . Coral was my favorite. Shantal was my pick of who’s going to win several episodes ago. Chastity made me cry when she spoke to her girls on the runway. Coral’s final look was breathtaking. This season was really good. I love this show. I love the creative talent and skills. Now when is season 20 starting, I can’t wait!

They were always scared of Shantall, she's been a judge favourite ever since the start, it wasn't that hard to expect them being sore losers about this. That being said, Shantall is simply amazing. Nothing short of being a winner through and through. Even in this competition she came very far, while the others made some progress, others simply re-iterated what they already did before the show. I studied at the academy the same time Kristina was there and basically the entire fashion department at that time was obsessed with Björk. Look at that runway. Very Björk to me. I don't call that progress. Then acting like a baby for not winning is just sad :/

I have to say chantel had the least strong collection out of the four. In my opinion she came in 4th. However out of the four she seemed to have the most streamlined versatility that could make a commercial BASIC simple brand. Although the other designers had better clothes, concepts and designs, it seemed like they would fall into a niche. Brands like Tommy Hilfiger, polo, etc have longevity because their clothes are simple and classy. Personally based on the collection I would have awarded in this order 1st- coral (just jaw dropping amazing) 2nd/3rd: toss up chastity and Christine 4th chantel.

Shantal was my favorite to win going into the finale, she had design and the business sense to make a commercial brand. Chasity’s design are spectacular but they are definitely for the stars and not so commercial. Coral was the standout to me. She’s consistently defined her brand and brought something new. Tbh her collection was the best in my opinion and had Elaine been there for the finally instead of TH (who let’s be honesty isn’t the most edgy) Coral would have won. Christina does have a unique point of view and is passionate but gets too stuck in her ideas.

First of all “Congratulations” to all the ladies. I thought the show was the best PR show finale ever, but then again they did have 6 months to complete their collection. Here is my selection in reverse order. 4th Place - Christina Poor loser! She should have been grateful PR decided they wanted an all female finale this season for she didn’t deserve to be there but that is just my opinion. She had the best prints of the show. Also she was very wise in selecting silk as her base fabric, but that was about it for me. Personally, I felt she should not have been in the finale. There were a couple episode’s where her designs were hideous. I forget which episode but it was near the end when she made the “Red Lobster” looking uniform/costume. The blue & white gingham paired with the red stripe ticking was so bad she should have been kicked off just for having that idea in her head. It was as if Dorothy from “The Wizard of Oz” had landed in Chesapeake Bay and was a waitress at Red Lobster. But having 4 women in the finale was good to see. So Bravo! 3rd Place - Chastity I think her collection was good but I think her designs during the season were better than her designs in the finale. It was as if she had way too much time on her hands and overthought her collection. She worked great when under pressure during the season. I actually thought Chastity had the most potential to win design wise, but pressure got to her. Her collection was still very good and she deserved to be there. 2nd Place - Coral Sentimental favorite since she did not win a challenge. Her collection was outstanding, but here is the main issue I had with Coral’s collection. Christian said it best when he told her she needed to do something different/unexpected that they had not seen from her during the season. She did with the design on the male model but for me it missed the mark. To me this was my least favorite look of her collection and one of, if not my least favorites in the finale. Another reason why she did not win might be because she used too much macramé in her collection. I loved seeing her incorporate macramé into her designs but it seemed to me that her macramé overshadowed everything else in her designs. Now her final runway dress was incredible but it was my #2 overall piece in the finale. 1st Place - Shantall And Deservingly So! Overall her collection was superior! The detail in each piece in her collection showcased her level of commitment to quality. Her tailoring is better than most professional designers today. She won this season because of one design, that chemise LBD(little black dress) and yes a LBD can be that length. OMG, that LBD is one of the most impeccable & elegant designs I have ever seen. Simplistic Perfection, but there is nothing simple looking about that dress. That dress will go down as one of the most elegant and most glamorous LBDs of all time. Shantall made fashion history with that dress.

I do love Shantal, she is genuinely amazing but I would’ve chosen Coral. I have never seen what she has done. The macramé was just spectacular! I have to say Coral had my favorite runway. Especially her last look and the ones with the zippers. Chantal’s looks we’re too boxy and 80’s for me but I loved the shoe jacket dress and the long jacket. I also liked some of Chastity’s looks, like the bodysuit with the jacket that could be a train, but her looks feel like I’ve seen them. Even thought it was a lot going on I loved the crazy space dress with the girl on the hoverboard.

Couldn't you ladies show some love to the winner regardless of how you felt about the judge's decision? Unless something else happened that we didn't see, Shantall worked really hard throughout the season, stayed consistent and showed us lots of range in her work. I believe she also won more of the individual challenges too. So her win was well deserved even though I too wasn't a big fan of the color scheme of her collection. Coral's collection was superb too but, very niche. Chasity relied heavily on beads and the fabric. I wish she brought in some unique designs or construction. The other lady did a good job as well, I appreciated the ease of her collection. I wish I saw you girls rallying around your fellow woman in celebration, love and support rather than diminishing her victory and excluding her. It's quite a shame and ugly that women treat each other that way. I wish you all the best anyways. Project Runway isn't easy, you came so far and You did your best. Congrats to all of you.

Well deserved win Shantall!! Congratulations to all 4! 🥳 They're all talented but these 3 designers attitude during the interview is so disappointing!! Talking badly about another female colleague speaks poorly of them. Shantall was constant in her design line in all the episodes, her collection was the one that I most imagined for sale, the high quality of the handcrafting, and her personal elegance and maturity. Shantall and Coral were the most experienced of these 4 designers. - Coral definitely had the most colorful and vibrant collection for this finale but to be honest I don't see myself buying various macrame dresses. Kristina, she has a lot of artistic talent but as you saw in the interview, she's immature, she doesn't know how to deal with clients, investors and other possible collaborators. Chasity, she didn't use enough colors, the designs were repeated a lot and they were more red carpet gowns. I loved Christian's mentorship, he was objective and he was always kind to them 💛. A great season, can't wait for Season 20! These ladies set the high bar for next seasons.

It looks like Chasity doesn´t know how to listen very well -- Nina had been telling her the whole season - I like what you are wearing, I don´t like what you put out on the runway. Meaning - design as if it were for yourself and you´ll succeed... But Chasity insisted on trying to do what the thought would be what the judges want... and the speeches about race, trying to find a place in society etc etc - after a while, I mean... she needs to forget about the past, live for the present and work for the future -- when people keep talking about the negative stuff in the past, this drags them down and they get stuck -- think forward always!!!

I'm adored and loved this season so much!!!! The talents were out if the charts this time. It's been awhile and frankly quite that the project runway (all branches of all seasons combined) rarely produced such a pristine line-up of designers. All of them absolutely deserving of being the finalist. For The Winner, YASS!!! deserving of her crown this season

Sadly, that’s the way it should always be, because it’s supposed to be the best of the best. But instead, they usually stuff the show with drama queens and goofy designs in order to make the show entertaining. The reason they were all great is because the producers decided to show women in a strong light, because that’s what’s politically correct now. It’s not just about the clothes, they deliberately chose 4 stunning designers each from different demographics and political representations.

I'm not really a political leaning kinda person honestly, indeed I've prepositional thoughts about it but kinda dust it off anyways. Reason being simply because whenever politics interfered, it always goes towards negatives and hateful directions which not the vibes I'm looking for personally

While Im not sure about the political because the weakest designs on the weaks leading up to it, were truly going home. However, I will agree there was only 1 in the final group who was in the bottom twice earlier in the season who I think should have gone home the 2nd time she was there. On the plus side this season, it was filled with some of the strongest designers ever. Agreed on that point made elsewhere. This newer version has gone to better lengths bringing in better designers and not a bunch of cast fillers with a few good designers to create a show. You also don't have the lead designer as a judge mocking and making fun of the contestants to and behind their faces. The mentor also has exacting comments to assist, sticks around the work room, and doesn't just go around with a stoic face saying only 'make it work.'

Shantall and Coral were my favorites! But Shantall worked so hard through the whole season, and she even won 4 challenges! As a Nicaraguan, she represented us well, and I'm very proud of her! Thanks to her, people might get to hear more about our country. 😍 Arriba Nicaragua!❤💙💙💙

I’m glad Christian mentioned Jennifer Hudson. Perfect example of what I think is about to happen for Chasity. She just needed the exposure. Watch her blow up and exclusively work with celebrities/entertainers as TH mentioned. She seems to be well liked by the people on the show that has position and influence to change her life. Christian adores her. TH basically endorsed her. Taraji was super impressed. Even Coco Rocha said she preferred working with her. Watch where she’ll be in a year.

It made me sad to see the other womens reaction to Shantal winning. If you re-watch the season & home visits every bit of advice Christian gives them says it all. As a former contestant and now Global Design icon...he knows of what he speaks. The other women's clothes WERE amazing, but marketability, as Tommy Hilfiger said is key. I've no doubt the other designers will go on to long and successful fashion careers, I just wish they had shown more Grace vs mean girls.✌

EXACTLY! They are not just looking for any designer, they wanted someone that worked the fabrics the materials like Chantal did. They saw her as a threat from the beginning and they thought that turning against her would make her lose, but it only made her more determined to win.

My favorite look of all was Coral’s colorful coat w/ black skirt and headdress. It was magnificent! I understand the Shantall decision, but I did not agree with it. The too big outfits, especially the gray coat, took me back to the 1980’s. I did love her long coat with the black sheath dress. Her dress for the plus size model was the least successful of all the other plus size dresses, though, and that IS an important market. But, bravo to all - They will each have great careers.

Yes, TH deemed Shantall 'marketable'. Did I miss the show where that was given as part of the requirements? That gray outfit she wore herself may have required great skills, but it was NOT flattering on her.

It was interesting how 1 of Christina models was on a hover board. I actually laughed. It was very different & new. I loved it. But I loved all their collections. At least they should be proud they were PR...!! As a Fashion Designer, takes me at least 5 -8 days to complete 1 garment. You gotta be a fast great designer to be on there. At the end of the day they're all winners. But I can't get over Corals macrame...!!

Someone on another post said Elaine being gone likely changed the results. That’s probably true but in the end what’s for you is for you and only the universe can control that. Yes, remember the scene where she said she didn’t fit in? I think they didn’t like her from the beginning. I think she was deservedly the clear winner. I didn’t like Kristina’s clothes, except for the hoverboard dress. Chasity’s clothes were beautiful, but as judges said, more for celebs, etc. Same with Coral; I think the market is limited although the clothes were spectacular. That colorful jacket was unbelievable.

People don’t realize how hard Shantall worked. Everyone has an opinion, though. The three who didn’t win seemed to dislike Shantall from the get go. I don’t understand why. Shantall is so humble and kind. Then Kristina said the judges were wrong. Sour grapes is not a good look, Kristina. My picks were: Shantall, Coral, Chastity, Kristina. Christian is a great mentor. I just love him💖

Kristina was my favourite designer all season, those are the clothes I would actually wear & I love her vision. But Chantels collection was incredible, just so elevated beyond everyone. To me, she was the clear winner. I'm happy for her.

First, I have adored Christian since his first “fierce!” Thank you for all you have done to give voice to women of all shapes and sizes. We have a lotta money to spend! Second, thank you Bravo and the new producers for shifting the focus to the fashion, designers and, most importantly, the RUNWAYS! Can I tell you how tired I was of camera takes of judges’ faces? Chastity's collection embodied: being fabulous now, without the occasion IS the vibe! Her collection is exactly what we want to wear after spending 2+ years indoors. It was everything! We going to the grocery store, we going for a walk, we are picking up takeaway in that gorgeous, ballerina tulle, those dope furry pants, each garment in that collection. (BTW, loved each of these super-talented designers' collections! Beautiful work.)

OMG! Overwhelming; I just went on the journey with all all of them. To be truthful, Kristina's collection was whimsical to me and I just wanted to be there. But leave it to Chantelle to bring me back down to earth with her sensibility collection. Chassity, YES designing for the stars; I could definitely see that and Coral, so talented, oh wow. They each have their own niche, and will go off and accomplish so much more. Did y'all see Brandon do his thing, with the judging of Chasity, "like don't criticize her ruffled pants, THEY'RE GORG". 😊 They're all dynamic. Hats off to you Christian and the judges.

The right designer won. Coral did awesome though. Kristina will mature with time, hopefully. Coral professing her love to Kristina and Chasity in Chantal’s presence was such an awkward moment. Kristina seems to forget she would have gone home the week Chantal was eliminated. Not forgetting Coral and Chasity’s flubs throughout the season. Now imagine that Aaron, Octavio and Prajje were also top talents that got eliminated off single mistakes. Be humble, sit down.

Attitude says a lot and I agree with the judge's choice Chantelle's line was very cohesive and consistent. These three iced her out in the past few weeks and I just think there's a little clique going on here. Don't spoil all your hard work by being a sore loser. Congrats to Shantall! The judges were looking at it from a fashion and a business perspective. So for that, she was the right winner. However, who I think had the most put together collection was Coral. You could FEEL her passion and love for Mexico City and she had the best finale look. I wonder if Elaine had been able to make the finale, would the outcome have been different?

Macrame is not commercial. There is no market for it in fashion. Very limited commercial appeal. It's more for Pottery Barn.
