Finally 100% Low Volume Fix for Samsung Galaxy Buds

Problem is very simple and funny! Just clean off the earwax with cotton pad and vodka.
​ FOR THOSE, IF THIS METHOD IS UNSUCCESSFUL: After cleaning, you can carefully remove (with small needle) silver earbud element (it is slightly glued), and try to clean that metallic mesh from inside. Probably, earwax is clogged the small holes too deep to the other side!

Thanks man, I had to pull the screen (mesh out). I sprayed cloth with electrical cleaner, rubbed the screen, no go, sprayed cleaner straight into the screen, no go. (I still had about 10% volume) then removed the screen, cleaned both sides, took a brush (old tooth brush might work) got the bristles to poke through the screen a few different places, Then things came back to life. Not sure if its 100% volume, but for sure made a huge improvement, maybe 90%. I might try again and get the brush really in there some more. I really did not think my problem was obstructed screen, but it was... Much better now. Thank you! I might need to use vodka, eh? I got plenty of that. :) cheers!

Man you're a legend, I was so disappointed and frustrated, went through lots of useless video for the whole night, I used ear cotton swab, and hand sanitizer to completely clean the metal mesh and needle to clear invisible wax around the mesh. My ear buds are brand new now. So happy to have them back!

I swear that this actually works. Wtf? This was the absolute easiest thing to do & I cannot believe so.ething so easy actually worked. Great video. My left earbud went super low & wouldn't turn up. This happened as I was changing the rubber pieces. Well I didn't use Vodka. Just a qtip & some regular hot tap water. Popped them in & the left was fixed. I was very skeptical but after trying everything else except I did not uninstall the wear app. I did try to unpaired then repair. After that & changing the touchpad configuration as others suggest didn't work either. So I then went to the bathroom & ran the hot water & grabbed a qtip. Now these are not even dirty so it wasn't a blockage problem. It must have been a sensor issue. Believe me this worked for me. Doesn't make much sense to me but, it sure worked. I hope this helps anyone that reads this. I would give this guy 5 thumbs up if I could!!!!!

Works! And yes i checked all other solutions, including separating the bluetooth audio. Problem isnt the software but the hardware. Behind the metallic mesh there is a membrane. When it is clogged with earwax it no longer resonates and the volume is lower. By cleaning it you solve it. Can be done as described. Or, if you're brave and not so patiënt* Use a needle to gently pop off the mesh...don't jam it in....gently. Just the tip (pun intended) * (do this at your own risk, don't puncture the membrane). Take off the membrane and clean it. Clean the mesh. There is a lot of earwax on the other side. Put everything back. I see some comments to just throw away the membrane and even the mesh. Those people think it is only there to keep dirt out. It isn't. The earbuds need the membranes to generate bass.

yes, correct! Sometimes, this method is not useful if earwax is clogged too deep. I also tried to remove metallic mesh removing from the glue and then clean it more accurate. And then, glue it back. Also worked perfectly!

WORKED! Used rubbing alcohol, had to do 2X cleanings- almost gave up after first try using alcohol. This however should not be the problem and I suspect this is some form of planned obsolescence in order to sell the next "Buds"

Great advice, Samsung app now suggests routine cleaning. Although this has fixed a lot of others problems, Unfortunately it did not fix mine, but gave me an idea. My problem was that i dropped one of mine in sweat tea and after trying to clean and dry it, it had a very low volume. So after trying your suggestion, and no luck, I tried pouring some clean water in a cap, put the silver side into the the water and moved it around for about 3 to 5 seconds. Then I shook it out, and wiped it down, and then used a can of compressed air, not using full power about half, i slowly gave it a little pressure on the trigger and blew it out, after first it had better sound immediately. after the second time, it was back to normal.

Awesome, also can use denatured alcohol that has no water like isopropyl. Denatured alcohol is found near paint thinner in stores and can be used for all electrical and circuit cleaning.

I had the problem of "Very low volume" in my Right bud. The Left bud was normal. Here's what I did...It's icky but...Take a deep breath, put your mouth on the silver part of the bud(the speaker) and suck! I know it sounds icky but it worked. There must have been something in there, most likely ear wax. Since it's MY ear wax and the buds are so expensive, I figured I had nothing to lose. It worked. The bud has the full volume it had when new. I guess my right ear has more wax than the left since the left bud never lost it's volume.

Yeah, but it goes back to the way it was and you have to keep doing it and it's annoying. If you contact samsung you will see that they come with a 1 year warranty and you can replace them

I tested a pair of Galaxy Buds Live few weeks ago and passed because the volume was extremely low compared to some jlabs I was using. Yesterday I noticed that the problem was with my phone not the earbuds. I connected a Bluetooth speaker to a different phone and noticed it was much louder than on my phone. So I had to download a volume booster app and it solved the low volume issue.

So if you are like me and the alcool rubbing technique dident work, i have 3 other solution you can try. 1- Try to clean/unclog the metal grill holes with something small like a needle, if like me you don't have that you can try to cut a clean thootbrush wired/thread. i was surprise that it fit perfectly in these hole so you can clean your metal grill, just be sure to not lose it inside. ( it dident work for me so i went with solution number 2) 2- In my desperation i tried sucking out the stuff with my mouth and still dident work so i used a can of compressed air and blew the inside of the bud for like 2-3 sec...instantly worked and my issue got solved. 3- If option 2 don't work, you can try to remove the metal grill and clean the inside directly, as for the warranty, someone on reddit stated that he talked to someone at Samsung and they said if you can put it back it won't void your warranty and if you leave it they most likely wont know anyway. ( not 100% sure about that) i hope it help someone out there :)

I did option 3 before reading your comment. Wasnt phased wjth warranty cause i just wanted the shit to work. In addition i removed the black piece of material under the grill and further cleaned but left the material off. Been 2 months and it works perfect!

There's another method you could use which is using nail polish remover and putting a little bit on a cotton ball then rubbing the earbud, then just suck ur earbud as hard as you can, in not joking i always use this method and always works
