I traded in my Oris Aquis for a C63 Sealander. I loved the look of the Oris but with quite a lot of high polish for me it was a dress/diver so a pretty weird combo so it never got enough wear. Ideally I would of bought a Omega Aqua Terra but more money than I wanted to spend. Love white dials and the C63 had this with some orange accents like the AT I liked. Plus at 39mm it was far more wearable than the 43mm Oris (only size available at the time). It was ordered and came quicker than expected even the packaging was impressive. I paid extra for the bracelet to be sized which wasn’t correct but my friendly jeweller sorted it. The light catcher case is lovely as are the polished indices which really ping off the dial. The quick release bracelet is a real bonus for quick swaps and the fit is now spot on thanks to the clasp like yours. My only gripe is having a desk job, if you forget your morning manual wind it sometimes stops overnight. Overall for the money it’s a premium product. 😁

This watch is just beautiful. I own the Trident pro 600 and never really connected with it -- it's too bulky, and doesn't look great indoors -- but this one looks like a perfect design. The SS bezel looks much better than the narrow ceramic bezel insert on the regular model. Perfection.

Had the clasp been like 1.5cm shorter, a Lumed Ceramic or even a Sapphire Bezel Insert, with Drilled Lugs...this C Ward would have been near perfect in my humble opinion. Beautiful Dial tho...😍

can i know what's your wrist size? Dilemma between 38mm and 40mm for their C60 trident pro 300

I wonder what Rolex will decide to use so the rest will make a trend by copying it. Some of us may hate the green, Tiffany green, mop etc......As for Christopher Ward, imo ain't better than lots of Hong Kong or Singapore micro brands, it just more expensive.

Never seen anybody compare the clasp to watch head ratio before and I find it to be nonsense, if anything shows how thin they have managed to make the watch head rather than how thick the clasp is. That clasp is as thin or thinner than ones found on more prestigious brands costing 4x the price of this, case in point that hideous fat diesel powered thing they stick on grand seiko divers, the ratio with them is only better because the watch heads are normally very thick.

@@PepRex he said size, he may also have said length, either way my point is valid, that clasp is industry leading compared to others and is fine, there are others that are far larger and uglier for far more money. Jesus christ, blah bla-blah.

I'm not usually a fan of them but that is by far the nicest stainless steel bezel I've ever seen.

I’ve just bought this. I can’t wait for it to arrive. I’m not bothered about the bezel - I won’t be using it 😅 Update. It’s arrived. There’s nothing wrong with the bezel - it’s firm. It’s the most beautiful watch I’ve ever seen (obviously my opinion but I’m an enthusiast and have seen 1000’s) - this one is special, but I appreciate, not to everyone’s taste. I bought both the strap and bracelet. The bracelet looks great and way better than the strap, but you’re right about the clasp. I’m over the moon with my purchase!

Can’t decide on the white vs blue dial.

I last bought a CW five years ago - at that time the quality control and customer service was awful. I received a brand new black dial watch with a white grain of sand type mark in the middle portion of the dial which should not have been missed, and the same watch had a bracelet that was so poorly machined that the end links would not line up with the Lug holes! When I contacted customer services the chap I spoke to simply said "oh it happens sometimes, doesn't it." No apology or anything. I had to send it back to them for assessment, then several weeks later they offered to repair it instead of sending me a new one. I got a refund and haven't bought one since. I hope their QC and CS has improved since 2018...

@@lordcharfield4529 there was dust under the crystal and rotor sound like it had sand in it. They have a “60 day return” but they won’t take it back if you wear the watch. They said the watch has be unworn to get a refund. I asked for them to repair it at least and now they have my watch and my money I have nothing. Haven’t heard back from them in weeks. Think San Martin watch band on some of their watches are the same exact ones. And the whole watch cost as much as paid for the band that is junk. There is nothing about this watch that would make me think this was a Swiss made except the movement also junk. I would say this watch C63 GMT is about a $500 not $1500. I really feel like I got tricked by KZbinrs that have to be paid to hype this crap. But if you do get one I hope you experience is much better. Wearing my CW #tide and after collecting watches for years including most of the major Swiss brands I can say it's the best finished watch I've ever owned. I wish it had a fancier movement than a selita SW200 but it's a chronometer and mine runs at +1spd. Just wish it had a longer power reserve. It would have been more than the £1k I paid though so not complaining too much.

To be fair, the lume is fairly weak. Or at least compared to any of my other divers. But it's also fair for the look their going for. With that said, i'm in love with this watch, and it feels so so nice in hand. The quality you get for this price, seems unfair compared to many more known brands, at way higher prices. Can't stop wearing mine since i got it.

@@larrydalton2205 i blasted it just earlier after i saw your comment, with a bunch of UV light, left it "charge" for like 5-10min. Didn't last more than 1h. It does read well in dark areas though cause of the faceted hour markers, but most Seiko divers will far outlast it. It's more on par with the Orient Kamasu.

I somewhat struggle to get past the vanity and ego of deciding to call your watch brand by your own...both christian and family name. And while Christopher Ward is a perfectly fine and serviceable name...glamorous it ain't especially;) It all rather smacks of fashions brands ala Daniel Wellington, Michael Kors and the like. In a market where small leaks can sink a battleship, I really wish he hadn't done that...

Didn't do AP,GP any harm ,the watches are amazing for the price + the only place the name appears is inside the clasp.

I'm not knocking the product my friend. But in a business where glamour and prestige are huge factors, small differences, (especially when it comes to branding), can make all the difference. Speaking as a former Marketing Director I'd say they are critical in fact. Audemars Piguet and Girard Perregaux carry an aura of glamour you'll agree. Christopher Ward on the other hand... ;) @@stevelufc64

Perhaps it’s that the name sounds “western” and not as foreign. Vast majority of watch brands are named after the founder/cofounders, fathers, or merged companies (which are also named after key people). See AP, PP, VC, cartier, JLC, A. Lange, baumé & mercier, piaget, panerai, roger dubuis, van cleef & arpels, blancpain breguet, jaquet droz, harry winston, bulgari, heuer, girard perregaux, ulysse nardin, h moser, arnold & son, frederique constant, breitling, chopard, and more. It is also common in a lot of other industries like cars or fashion.
