My son is a tiler, and he made my shower tile go to the ceiling. My drywall showed light moldy spots, she he cleaned all that up, and retailed entire shower space. I love the look of it going to the ceiling line. It looks more expensive and lush in here. I love your tile you’ve chosen for your entry area. You have excellent taste.

I hope the young people buy it. We started off with a newborn and a mobile home. About the size of yours. I loved living in the mobile home. Easy to keep clean and maintain. We lived in it for a year and a half then sold it.

With the half bath upstairs you could make it like a wet bath like the Japanese bathrooms. You could get a handheld sprayer to shower and have a drain installed on the floor. Also the back of the toilet you could install the lid part to be a sink to wash your hands.

Great video Cam! A little DD and a great house update! Well Done. You indicated you were going to paint the stairs. On the risers you could do some stenciling or some inspirational words or paint each riser a different color of the rainbow, etc. Are you going to sand and stain the treads or put new treads on? That would be gorgeous too. Just some thoughts. xo

Everything is looking good! I love the shower and agree if you have enough tile to go to the ceiling it would look great. Your planning on putting the washer and dryer by the new closet, correct? If so the door won’t open. It would be better to have the opening on the other wall where you thought they would put it. The gas line is in there and uncapped. Not everyone has stacked appliances. That could be a deal breaker when selling. Floors look nice. 😊 Can’t wait to see the black and white tile installed and the kitchen cabinets. Painting the bathroom cabinet will make it look like new! Do you have any left over paint from current trailer? I hope the couple with the baby qualify. How’s it going with the kitty, Mr Beefy? Get well wishes for your sister.

Thank you 😁 Beefy actually stepped a few feet inside the other day! I caught it on video, I'll try to remember to include it in my next one. As for the washer and dryer, I have a small combo 2 in 1 machine that will go on the wall across from the closet. It won't hinder any doors and doesn't use the gas line. So that will work for me now :)

Oh no! I hope all is well now. No, that wasn't her surgeon, unfortunately she just has a "sensitive spine" as they've told her. She had her first partial lapendectomy on L4 in 2014 at age 20, another one on that same disc last month, and then that caused L5 to become herniated and get stuck in the scar tissue, so that's what they operated on this time. Hoping she's good to go now!

never caulk around a toilet. you have a wax ring to prevent leaks. if you do get a leak and you have caulk then you will never know about the leak until it has rotted a floor & ceiling. please remove it now to save yourself some grief. and please make sure he gets that white caulk removed and use a color that matches the tile. just because you are on a budget doesn't mean he has to give you less than quality.

I'll see what I can do, I really am not knowledgeable on the subject too much at all though 😆 My main thing is saving, I spend very little money and managed to accumulate a large savings, that's how I was able to purchase a home at all. I make much much less than 90k (like 1/3 of that amount if that), so I was only approved for a 50k home loan to start with. That left me with not much choice other than to get a small fixer upper, so I found the cheapest one I could that still had potential and bought it in cash. Unfortunately as is the case for so many now, I definitely would not be able to afford to buy a "traditional" home in this market
