Come to the UK Rose, people think a compliment means you are thinking of proposing 😂 I think this is a huge difference between the UK and US, along with the different approaches to religion (UK we don't discuss it, it's unusual if anyone is outwardly religious, US it's everywhere and openly discussed). I don't like Clary sage much either. It can dominate! Fab video ❤

I live in the UK and have worked in large local government buildings where a room was booked weekly for Christian prayer meetings in a lunch break time frame. Also prayer room for those of muslim faith to pray. This was Birmingham . I think in large multi cultural cities things are changing and people are absolutely discussing their faith. Political views, maybe not so much.

Banana Bliss has been everywhere hasn't it? Even I'm vaguely intrigued 😅 banana seems to be popular this year. Noble Blush feels like it's going to be the declutter no. 1 next year, perhaps along with Sehr, so many people bought those. I love that you have a different take on Noble Blush, it's interesting that you make such a comparison, it would make total sense to me for them to channel something like that rather than Delina. 😊

I can't find Noble Blush in stock anywhere, but your comment let me know that it's okay to wait until they hype dries down. I got Rifaaqat back in January...after I got an email from YSL Corporate saying Babycat had been "discontinued". (It wasn't but it was hung up in some sort of litigation they have been pretty tight-lipped over.) I KNEW by the notes that I was going to LOVE it. Shortly after, I found samples of Babycat on Scent Split and got some, but their full-bottle price was crazy. I thought I would hold those for "special" and use Rifaaqat for daily wear. THEN, I saw a KZbinr say she got Babycat and where, so I checked, it was available with a discount code, so I ordered a bottle. That was on a Saturday. It was SHIPPED out that day, and I got it on Tuesday--and mind you, I'm 2500 miles across country!!! Not only that, they sent a gift with purchase...some embroidered Lancôme hand towels. Boy was I thrilled and impressed! I've still used both. I think--because I did a side-by-side comparison on myself--that while they are essentially the same, Babycat has longer longevity. I just ordered my second bottles of both, and some extra bottles of Rifaaqat for gifting at Christmas. Now...as far as complements...that's never been something that drives me personally. I wear perfume for myself, not others. In my mind, fragrance should be an extention of our authentic self. I find I want my fragrances to be classy, sophisticated, and elegant...but that's me. I do NOT like sicky-sweet fragrances on me. I have always--even back to high school--liked fragrances that have spicy notes...cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, pepper, etc. I don't want to be hit over the head with florals...they need to be judiciously blended. I also like citrus notes, and blood orange is my favorite...and oddly, it's also my favorite flavor of gelato! Thanks for the review! It helped me wait on Noble Blush until it's found more easily.

@roseayalaperfumeaddict5059 Hmmm...it's $47 because of the hype. I try to avoid paying more than $30 to $35 a bottle for Middle Eastern fragrances. I'll wait until the hype dies down. (Case in point...Khamrah is now under $25 a bottle, but Khamrah Quhwa is still hanging out at the $45 price point...but I got mine for under $30 each when they first came out last year.)
