I dont really own a G8 but I still subscribed. I really am having a crush on this car. I own a 09 SRT8 6.1L 5spd. Still this car is like the perfect world between Dodge & GM together. This car, you can go any routes with it when it comes to cosmetic mods and power mods.

Jimy Batista To be honest it’s a great car but like all cars it has its problems, personally I love it. For a full size car it’s surprisingly agile on the race track, which is great for me because I’m not really a quarter mile kind of person.

I herd you have it at 7psi of boost? But I rather keep it at 5psi of boost to make it more of a smooth push on a car like that. Overall bro, glad to hear that you still enjoy the ride and progress regardless what the Frankenstein baby contains as flaws.

If haven't done the tank straps mod yet. If I remember correctly Caprice ppv tank straps had a provision for a bolt to be added that would work with the hsv undertray.

What are you doing with the transmission? Stock 6l80? To add: that down pipe must be close to the steering shaft? Wold love to know how you got around that. Be well!

KMMG has the tremec M6 tr6060 so right now nothing planned for the transmission. As for the down pipe it is close to steering shaft, I would show you but cant get a clear video shot of it. It’s very tight.

So do you only have one header hooked up to the turbo? Looking to turbo mine in the future and there aren't many single turbo builds out there

Both headers feed the turbo, one header is a pass through we’re the other header flows through it. If you’re interested it’s a kit you can buy , it’s made by Cartunning Performance.

Lil jz When I bought the car 9 years ago I actually didn’t know what it was. I picked it up near London Ontario from a dealer. Only reason I bought it is because it was 6 speed. It was either this or a Supra, bought if I got married and had kids I figured I wouldn’t have to sell it so that’s the story... lol. Now it’s a collectors car 🤷🏻‍♂️.

Kount It’s a valve that allows me to bypass the mufflers and the rest of the exhaust and make it straight pipe, check out my earlier video where I drive the car and showed how it works :)
